In order to make it easier to install the hose reel, we have created a humanized design for its outlet connection. The outlet coupler is moved outward a little bit to facilitate your hose installation and prevent from hose kink ( The kink will reduce the pressure and wear out the hose ). UPDATE: 1）The coating of the whole reel has been updated to shiny black, not matte black any more. The new coating will protect the reel from hand sweats marks & hose marks, won't get dirty easily. 2) This reel is also available for 65ft 1/4" M22-14MM Hose, please use the attached adapters to convert the inlet and outlet. WARNING: NOT AVAILABLE FOR 1/4" M22-15MM HOSE. 3) The gloves shown in the main image are optional. Heavy-duty hose reels have a corrosion-resistant powder coating for greater corrosion resistance. Full flow 90° movable Swivel Joint can effectively prevent leakage and extend the service life. Fixed ring prevents hose holder from free-rolling during operation. I struggled with what type of hose reel to purchase for my pressure washer. I have an electric PW that serves, primarily, to wash cars and to wash my composite deck (and deck furniture) after winter. I purchased it more for the GPM than the PSI, so that I could produce good foam with a foam cannon when washing cars. My research including watching a few YouTube videos. And I knew that I wanted a reel that moved with my PW, and not affixed to the wall. (Although this unit will absolutely mount to a wall and swivel with the included mounting bracket). My PW was originally outfitted with a cheap, plastic--and barely functional--hose reel (and a stiff hose) which I quickly removed in favor of a more flexible hose and no reel, until I found this one. Parts were complete and sent with the intention that not everyone's set up is the same. I didn't have to purchase any additional parts and, using the teflon tape they provided, I have no leaks. Extra O rings were sent with the reel, as were with my PW. I have softened water and haven't had to replace any of the PWs O Rings in the three years I've owned it. Quality is top-notch. I fabricated a wooden mount on my PW (see photos) then used the provided bolts to mount the reel to my wooden cross members. Once in a while I hit a home run with a purchase and this is one of them. I expect it to be very durable and provide many years of service. My DIY skills are pretty high. If you're still in the learning phase, just take your time when you make your connections. Remember to wrap your tape in the same direction of your threads, and be generous with the application. ... show more

Works great. Built a base for it so I can move it around. Only issue was where the hose connects to the reel. I have a stiff commercial 50 foot hose and it was difficult to keep from getting in the way while reeling. Otherwise, great product. No leaks or loss of pressure.

This is a simple hose reel that works really nicely to hold my 40’ Adam’s pressure washer hose. I’ve also had a 50’ uberflex pressure washer hose on it in the past and that worked well too. I’ve got this bolted to the end of my DIY car wash cart, and it’s very convenient and easy to use. It’s built sturdy, the included hardware and extension hose is good quality, and I’ve been quite happy with it overall. The simple locking mechanism makes sure things stay put and don’t unroll. I added another hose clamp and an additional 90* fitting to the reel to make the hose attachment point fit more neatly to the hub, but that’s not required by any means. ... show more

Update: bought in 2023, used for weekly to wash 1-2 cars on average. No issues, works with different size hoses. It comes with an adapter for m22 style hoses which is a plus: jumper hose at decent length as well. Seals went out in 2026, easy replacement it seems. Customer support always willing to help. Maybe I was just unlucky with a bad unit, but I don't see how this reel has good reviews. The moment I turned on my water hose the reel started leaking at the swivel joint BEFORE even turning on the pressure washer. The instructions say that if it leaks you need to replace the o-rings so they provide 1 extra set. I didn't want to have to unmount this from my wall since that was another PITA, so I replaced the o-rings and hoped it would work. NOPE, leaked exactly the same after replacing all 4 rings. In addition to the leaking problem, this thing is NOT designed to be mounted on a wall because the reel completely blocks the use of standard tools. I ended up having to use a wrench to screw in all 4 screws and that process by itself should have been enough for me to want to return this. Imagine my surprise when after all that work the thing started leaking. Needless to say, this was probably the most frustrating product I've ever purchased on Amazon. ... show more
