Asi mismo aplaudo la forma en la que viene protegido el lente y empaquetado. En terminos generales el lente es hermoso, sus 33mm nos permite tener un angulo de vision mucho mas abierto, es dexir que podemos reslizar difrentes tipo de fotografias con este lente, en especisl para video es perfecto! aunque no niego que me encantaria ver un lente de Meike de menor focal, pero este 33mm F/1.4 es en todo el sentido de la palabra HERMOSO. Un punto a descatar y apludir en la calidad de mos material, los siento muy resistentes, ante cualquier incidente, asi mismo me encsnta la textura que esta metiendo Meike en sus lentes, se parece mucho a la textura de el cuerpo de mi camara Sony, pareciers que fuera el mismo cuerpo. llendonos un poco mas a lo tecnico, me impresiona el la apertura maxima, el efecto de bokeh que genera es hermoso, asi mismo el enfoque automatico tanto como en videos y fotografias es super rapido,a nitidez en general el mente tiene todo, pienso que por todo lo que te ofrece hasta es barato, personalmente considero que Meike esta llegando muy lejos con su nueva lineas de lentes. En general no desconfies de la marca, ni de las pocas valoraciones ha que debi de admitir que tanto como en esta ocasion como en la vez que compre el 55mm de Meike tenia un poco de desconfianza por las pocas valoraciones al ser producto nuevos, pero no me arrepiento para nada! Este te lente te da mucho mas por lo que pagas, dejare unas fotos tomadas con el lente y un video de prueba de enfoque que realice, si ven el video muy desaturado es porque esta en el Slog3 y no lo procese, en fin espero que les sirva mi opinion para que se animen a comprarlo! / I just received this beautiful lens in El Salvador. It should be noted that everything this lens has to go through to get to my hands is no easy task! I also applaud the way the lens is protected and packaged. Overall the lens is beautiful, its 33mm allows us to have a much more open angle of vision, that is to say that we can take different types of photographs with this lens, especially for video it is perfect! Although I do not deny that I would love to see a Meike lens with a smaller focal length, but this 33mm F/1.4 is in every sense of the word BEAUTIFUL. One point to highlight and applaud is the quality of your material, I find them very resistant to any incident, likewise I love the texture that Meike is putting in its lenses, it is very similar to the texture of the body of my Sony camera, it seems as if it were the same body. Going a little more into the technical side, I am impressed by the maximum aperture, the bokeh effect it generates is beautiful, likewise the autofocus both in videos and photographs is super fast, in general sharpness the Meike has everything, I think that for everything it offers you it is even cheap, personally I consider that Meike is going very far with its new line of lenses. In general, don't distrust the brand or the few reviews, because I had to admit that both on this occasion and the time I bought the Meike 55mm I was a bit distrustful because of the few reviews since it was a new product, but I don't regret it at all! This lens gives you much more for what you pay, I'll leave some photos taken with the lens and a focus test video that I made, if you see the video very desaturated it's because it's in Slog3 and I didn't process it, anyway I hope my opinion helps you to buy it!

I got the Meike 55mm f/1.4 lens as an alternative for my Sony a6500 e-mount platform. It has an auto-focus/manual option, and I like the versatility. As others have said, when you shoot in Manual mode, it tends to make you a better photographer because you have to control all of the variables. That being said, I went into this purchase with the mindset that it is a budget-friendly prime lens, and kept in perspective the value orientation rather than a pure performance play. This lens did not disappoint whatsoever! Based on its features, the feel, the performance, and the overall value, I feel like I purchase an OEM product at roughly half the price. I took some challenging photos, both with relatively low light, with shadows, varying depths, and some backlighting. It did fine, and it was fairly sharp. Unless I’m going to pixel hunt through the photo, being super sharp is irrelevant unless it is an enlarged portrait or I’m selling it to Getty. In both instances, I opened up the aperture and let the camera use automatic settings. It would have been sharper if I lowered the f-stop, but the whole point was to use challenging settings. Adjustments and controls with ISO, shutter speed, aperture, metering would have improved the picture. With most photographs, it has a lot to do with the photographer’s skill. With regard to the physical characteristics, the Meike 50mm has a hefty, solid build. The focus ring is glassy smooth, and aperture ring clicks with satisfying certainty. It is compact and lightweight, especially for a low aperture lens. It’s great for general carry and street photography, since it is does not stand out. Of course, everything boils down to optical quality and it is exceptional for the price. Like most other low aperture lenses, sharpness improves when stopping down to f/2.8 or f/4.0, which is where most photographs are taken when there is adequate light. Of course, the benefit of having that extra stop of light with an f/1.4 is extremely helpful when you need it. Having f/1.4 also provides great depth of field for the average photographer, which many people equate to “professional looking” photographs. No doubt, this lens is for the value-minded photographer and gives 90% of camera owners exactly what they are looking for in a f/1.4 lens, except at an exceptional price. The remaining 10% can be summarized as the finicky photographers who need to pay twice the price to get small gains in quality, many of which can be handled using software. Things like chromatic aberration are concepts most casual photographers have never heard of, and hence, don’t even look for it. If you know what it is, you won’t recognize it. If you know what it is, you can basically take care of it in post processing. The same goes with Distortion and Vignetting. They show up more in wide aperture settings, but again, are only discernable to those who usually pay 2x to 5x the price for an ultra-high quality lens. Bottom line is that for the casual photographer, this is a very competent lens for the bag, and it won’t empty your wallet. That just means you’ll have more money to pick up other lenses. You won’t go wrong having this in your bag. Let’s be realistic, people in the 1940s took great photos without having lenses as technologically advanced as this one. Learn good photographic techniques, and everyone will be amazed. I personally look forward to investing in their Cine lenses, since they provide such great quality and value. I want to add an additional comment that less experienced photographers might not realize. With my Sony APS-C sensor, the crop factor for 55mm is equivalent to an 84mm on a full frame sensor. This means it is roughly eqivalent to an 85mm full frame lens, which is optimal for portrait photography. When you shoot portraits, this gives you a close up (zoom) view, which reduces distortion that you'd find with wide angle shots. It also gives you good depth of field, where your subject pops out in detail from the background. It also has this (less known) effect of creating background compression, making the items in the background larger than life. If you use a wide angle and capture the entire scene, the far away items in the background look tiny. When you zoom up, the background looks larger. Sometimes, another benefit of zooming up is to eliminate the rest of the scene, where you concentrate your subject. For example, you eliminate taking a picture of other people who walk into the picture, or ugly trash cans that would otherwise ruin the photo. You end up isolating the subject and controlling what goes into the picture.

I picked up this 35mm F2.0 for my Sony A7ii, and I've been very happy with the photos it produces. The lens feels well-built with a metal mount, but still lightweight and doesn’t add much bulk to the camera. It is mostly made of plastic but feels very solid with a slip focus ring for manual focus. The autofocus is pretty quick and quiet, and been great for both stills and video. Images come out sharp in the center, and the 2.0 aperture gives a nice background bokeh. There’s some slight softness at the edges, but it’s nothing that bothers me for day-to-day shooting and is not really a problem for most purposes. Overall, this lens is a great deal, especially for the price. Pros: Lightweight and solid Quiet autofocus Good sharpness and bokeh Affordable Cons: A little softness around the edges

The media could not be loaded. I’m a content creator so I need a great quality lens but not so much as a “videographer lens” this nifty 50 is PERFECT. This is great quality for what I’m needing. It’s easy to use. My only con would be how zoomed in it is but at the same time I like that too lol. The image quality is also VERY good for portraits. It’s a very great lens for beginners.
