Decent inexpensive night vision option... This is basically a sub-$100 video camera in a binocular-type configuration with light enhancing, darkness compensating features... It offers an array of adjustable settings and captures decent quality images.... I didn't expect much, but I got more than expected....That's good enough for me... Maintain a reasonable perspective and you'll realize that there's a whole lot of very capable technology being offered in a sub-$100 device...

These night vision goggles have a lot of potential. They are on the bulky side however they do work but not incredibly well. You have to know what you’re getting into when you’re spending $99 on night vision goggles. If you’re looking to get high-quality expect to pay over 2000 just for a used pair. Then you will get incredible quality. I was considering giving them a five star for the fact that you can get night vision for 100 bucks and then thought well. They work more like a three star maybe even a two star. But that’s not fair to do because again you’re only paying $100 For night vision technology. You get what you pay for when it comes to gear for the money I think this is a good buy. If you can afford night vision goggles for hunting home defense and have the extra cash to spend a couple thousand I would not go this route but if you’re on a budget and you want something that can somewhat do the job and go for it. Don’t expect much for 100 bucks but I will say they work. I would like to see them rechargeable with the lithium battery rather than separate batteries. You can also use AA rechargeable batteries to modify it a bit.

If you want a pair of night vision goggles, you may want to give these consideration based on the price point. There are some good features, and some that are a bit questionable. First off I have to say that in total darkness they work great. You can change the exposure (ISO) level, which is nice. The view screen is exceptionally bright. EXCEPT you had better learn exactly which button will do the change you want. The buttons are not backlit. This is a big problem, obviously in a pitch black environment. More than once I accidentally pushed something wrong. I would need at least a red light flashlight to check what button I actually needed to push. Which is another problem as besides not being lit, they have icons not easily understood. So you will need to memorize from the small manual what does what. I do like how bright screen is in mono color. I didn't have a lot of luck in full color. I a slightly lit environment that would work better. I think the biggest draw back is that he binoculars use SIX AA BATTERIES. I haven't let the batteries run dead yet. But I suspect with a screen that bright, it wont take long. The goggles should have had a rechargeable lithium battery, with AA battery as backup. You could easily use these for long periods of time. And the recording is ok. But you will go broke buying batteries! It comes with a nice carrying case, for what it's worth. And you may need it to carry all the extra batteries you will need to keep it working.

Works night vision for the price, size and weight are roughly the same as a standard size of binoculars. Easy to use, only down fall is there is no zoom out feature frame standard view so you’ll need distance from you and what you are tying to see .

These night vision goggles are lightweight and easy to carry with you. The binoculars have great resolution and the night vision feature works great. This is great for hunting or just to use as recreational.
