Update: This lock may be a small deterrent, but is not much. My bike was stolen while using this lock, in front of a hospital with lots of traffic, during the day. So… buyer beware. This will stop a theft of opportunity (better than no lock at all), but seems easy to steal with cable cutters. This cable lock offers a slim, scooter-specific design that also works well for bikes. While no lock can stop a truly determined thief—Kryptonite included—even a minor deterrent like this can be enough in most cases. It's lightweight, not bulky, and mounts easily to the frame with the included holder. The 4-digit combination system is straightforward. It comes preset with a common code and changing it is simple: just twist the dial 90 degrees and set your new number. One feature is that you don’t need to hold the adjuster while selecting the new combo, which makes the process smoother and more intuitive. Overall, it's a practical, easy-to-use lock that balances convenience and basic security.

This lock fits my bike seat post and is out of the way. I usually leave the holder and only grab the lock when I make a quick coffee run (pre-ordered ahead of time). Personally, I would not leave my bike unattended with this lock for more than 5 minutes, and that can just be the New Yorker in me, who doesn't trust anyone, anything, or anywhere. It is not the thickest cable, and the plastic combo lock seems to be its weakest point. But for those looking for something convenient and quick in and out store runs, this is not bad. Hopefully, it will never need to be tested.

This lock feels more for show than for real security. While it might deter someone briefly, it doesn’t seem strong enough to truly secure a bike or scooter for long periods. On the positive side, it’s very lightweight and easy to carry, which makes it convenient for quick stops or short trips. It’ll help for a short period of time, but this isn’t something I’d feel comfortable relying on long term for protecting a bike or electric scooter.
