Been taken this vitamin for quite a while. My skin would bruise easily and become black-blue. Since taken MegaFood Blood Builder Iron Supplement. My skin hasn't ripped skin, or a skin tear. Still becomes black-blue, but not as big and repairs itself quicker. Very Good Vitamin and will continue.

My midwives recommended this with my first pregnancy, and I’ve been using it since. They were a game changer. I’m often low on iron; this helped me feel better. It also helped with bleeding recovery after delivery. The taste is rather unpleasant, but worth it for the benefits.

My iron is normal but my ferritin is on the low side around 11. My doctor said I should get it to 70 to address hair loss. I’ve tried LowFe because it’s a funny pill. It was ok but caused digestive issues which lead to me discontinuing them. They barely raises my ferritin and side effects became problematic, plus I hated having to take vitamin C separately. It’s hard to find well tolerated and effective iron that isn’t a huge pill and I am not great with pills. The biggest thing I swallow is Aleve. If I take Tylenol I break it in half. I decided to buy the Blood Builder Minis and they’ve perfect. You can see in the ovaries it’s very close to Aleve size, and smaller than Tylenol. I can swallow them no problem. They have not caused any digestive issues. I’ve been taking them a few months now. I haven’t had follow up bloodwork yet to see how well they are working so that part I’ll have to come back and update later.

So far so good! These are so much better than other iron pills. I’ve only been on them for a week and call me crazy but today I actually started feeling a little more energy (very little but it’s a start)! I had to have blood transfusions 3 weeks ago, as my hemoglobin was at 4.2. The transfusions got it up to 7.3. I get it checked again in 3 weeks, once the doner blood cells have been replaced by my own. I’m hoping these will help my body kick this anemia to the curb and start feeling better ever day!
