I absolutely loved this set! When finished, it's so adorable to look at and it's adorable when it moves too. I did need to take it apart halfway through when I finished the moving parts and realized it wasn't moving the way it should. I think the rubber band it comes with is too tight so it wouldn't function right. It's been awhile between building it and this review, but I think I ended up replacing it with a regular small rubber band and it worked fine after. I'm not usually a Lego builder or block builder of any kind. This was my 1st build of this size and it was tons of fun and very therapeutic/relaxing to do to decompress from work.

My husband enjoyed this cool build ! He loves doing these types of models. He took his time Completing this model but enjoyed every minute of it. Being a Pokémon fan, I thought this would make him happy and I was right ! Great quality, Fuctions perfectly, large big Pikachu! Decent challenge , and great value! Highly recommend !

As you can see in the pictures, I love different building block sets! This one, however, was seriously so much fun to put together! Very good quality, and love that it moves! I've tried several different brands of building blocks, and while nothing really beats the original as far as how well they snap together, this brand was definitely not far off from how the bricks feel when they snap together. They did such a great job with Pikachu and included lots of little details that truly made this a fun build! This was one of the first kits I've built that move, so there was definitely a slight learning curve to it. However, they have the main internal components, that snap together, color-coded. The pieces that snapped together being color-coded was an awesome extra touch, and made putting larger pieces together a breeze!

The media could not be loaded. My 7 year old, 8 year old, and myself built this together over a few days. Some parts are difficult, even for an a adult, but we had a great experience. Had a scare in the middle that the crank wouldn't work, but it all came together in the end... It does appear that we are missing a merely cosmetic piece for the base which we just used extra pieces to replace, but other than that I have nothing but good things to say about the build.

It was easy to assemble. I liked that there were extra parts just in case anything happened. It was my first time putting together anything like that and the instructions were simple and easy to follow. It came together beautifully and better than expected. I did have an issue when putting the legs and it no longer moved, but it was easy to figure it out and fix the issue. Great product for the price and really good size. It has caused me to want to buy more products like this to put together.

I build a ton of Lego - this is my first Mega set, and I was very happy with my purchase. For all the Lego-builders: the bricks are NOT of the same quality as Lego. They feel cheap, they stick together like crazy, and even the parts separator is difficult to use. That being said - this set was AWESOME! The motion when it’s complete is insane - the build took a good amount of time and Mega doesn’t seem to be scared of making weird bricks for very random uses. You even build a tool for constructing a part of the kit, and then throw the tool to the side when you’re done! The bricks are lower quality, but here’s what I think made up for it: the crazy motion, the huge booklet, a resealable box, no stickers, and the final model looks so good!!! I’ll be keeping an eye out for more kits like this. Kinda wish Lego was producing kits with similar gimmicks.
