I want to start by saying I really hate the Halo show. I think it's poorly written, a cruddy representation of Halo and the characters are bland. That being said, this set is really awesome. I want to get the Cons aside first: the EOD (Spartan Vannak) and Chief both have things on the box are that the real set does not have. Vannak's shoulders are wrong for all sets, and Chief does not have the gray print on the front of his helmet that the box shows. The rest of the set is great though. All the figs are well made, with pretty sharp printing. Some of these newer sets have issues with print rubbing but this one doesn't appear to have that issue, or at least, it hasn't shown up yet. The Warthog is possibly Mega's best one ever, which is really saying something since Mega has made a LOT of 'Hogs over the years. For $40, 5 figures, a warthog and a bit of terrain feels pretty good, especially with the level of detailing everything has. So whether you're a fan of the show or you hate it like me, this set is worth getting. Oh yeah, and Master Cheeks/Jimmy Rings' head is really accurate, if that's something you want.

I'll agree with other reviewers, this is possibly the best Warthog Mega has ever released. Ive been a Halo fan for years, I didnt hate the show, I recognized its potential, the things it got right and accepted the things it didnt. From way back to the warthog run, resistance, flame warthog, and even gausshog, this is probably my favorite build. Its a great value, updated Warthog model, cool figures, weapons and a piece Forerunner tech/terrain, cant go wrong if youre a Halo lover.

This set is one of the best Warthogs released in the line, featuring several exclusive figures based on characters from the Halo series. It is easy to build, and the only downside is the poor face print quality on Master Chief and Cortana. However, this is offset by the excellent detailing on the Spartan figures.

I'm not a fan of the TV show from what I've seen, but these characters are among the top ten of all time in my whole collection. These are some of the greatest details on figures that I've ever seen, and I love the TV show's armor, even if not the plot of the story. Just kind of weird Kai, Riz and Kannak are grey while John is his usual green. Worth the 40 bucks, for sure. Comes with a Cortana figure but to be fully honest, I keep forgetting.

Despite being from a terrible show, this set is absolutely fantastic. The warthog is nicely built up and is just different enough experience from past hogs to make it worth owning another one. Silver team look fantastic all together and have nice, albeit subtle, pain decos. Chief is good too. Even stands out among other chiefs but I think he's better alongside silver team. Cortana is I nice addition too! Even though it's from a different timeline I think this set will fit nicely with any halo display.

I liked the overall way this build turned out; it looks great and is 'solid' when it is finished. The pieces stayed together well, and I feel it is fairly comparable to most LEGO sets. However, the figure of Master Chief came with one of the legs broken. I reached out to Mattel, the company who markets these products, and they graciously sent me a brand-new, complete set in box of this set, totally free of charge. Apparantly, Mega Bloks is not setup to send replacement parts, so the only way to get something replaced is for them to send an entire set to fix any problem(s). Needless to say, I was very pleased to get a new and intact 'Master Chief' to place in the vehicle for display. All's well that ends well. Buy with confidence.

My son loves these. I’m not always thrilled with the quality, but if the piece breaks, you can go to the website and order a replacement piece for free.
