The media could not be loaded. This guitar changed my music life- I’ve been struggling for years to find a way to play guitar with multiple health challenges that make my skin and fingers very sensitive to the shredding that comes from pressing down on metal (or really any) guitar strings- also as a piano player my plucking hand has always surpassed my fretting hand just because I have so much trouble pressing the strings. This guitar, with its odd silicone ‘strings’ has radically improved my playing within like 1 hour of trying it out. I can do all those barre chords I never imagine I could ever do- I can actually play advanced chords I’d studied but never physically been able to achieve. And they sound clean- and oddly mimic hammer ons and pull offs and string vibration- once you get the hang of the mute button that improves the sound of your playing eve further- so easy to switch to alternate tunings, to adjust each individual string volume and sensitivity (my high notes always seem to drown out my low notes on a low guitar). My Dad is a guitar master and purist- is this for him? Probably not. But I’m a multidisciplinary musician that has always wanted to play guitar more fluidly and this odd little guitar has finally done it! It’s not a toy, but it’s not really a guitar- it’s sort of an advanced midi that plays like a guitar but easier. And I do love my midi controllers of all kinds. Super super super happy, but be warned that like my Dad so astutely said: it’s like a whole other instrument that looks and plays a bit like a guitar. In terms of playability, I tried out multiple Enya smart guitars and could not physically do what I can do with the Aeroband- very comfortable to play, not super happy with the price but not disappointed either. For the right player and person with the right mindset- this is a winner

! This is the second AeroBand guitar in 3 weeks. The first one was fine for about 2 hrs, then it inexplicably went haywire (E string went dead in 4 of 9 sound-samples; the on-chime went silent after factory reset, but then E-string went dead on 5. Got a replacement. Was fine for 6 hours of playing; then the drum-loop button only sometimes shut off after turning on; but wait, there's more--the mute bar went south--a few presses worked after reboot, then completely dead.
