My old hammock was very worn out. This one seems to be much better quality. The fabric feels durable and it is very cozy to lay in. The colors are vibrant. The hammock size is amazing!!! It comfortably fit two adults and a very sleepy 1 year old. I love that it comes with a storage bag for the upcoming winter months. This hammock fits my hammock stand well, it’s a bit shorter than the hammock that came with the stand so I had to adjust the stand to accommodate it. I think the hammock is more suitable for one person, I find it rather tight for two move comfortably in it. The light purple color is very pretty and calming looking. The fabric feels “warmer” than the hammock that came with the stand. With the old hammock, I’d feel really cold on the back but this doesn’t make me feel cold at all so it’s perfect for a winter hammock. I’m very happy with this product ... show more

This is an awesome hammock! However, it is made to be used on trees, not hammock stands. If you put it on a hammock stand you get too low to the ground! Other than that, it is so comfortable and is made of very thick heavy-duty fibers! The tie-on straps are very thick and good quality made. I also love the colors in it! ... show more

I ordered this to replace our worn out hammock. It's bright and fun, and big enough to hold two people. I'm not sure how comfortably, but if they really like each other... 😊 My adult children tested and found it suitable for very cozy lounging. High quality fabric, straps and workmanship. Vibrant colors. I'm not sure we'll ever get it back into the carrying bag. It was an extremely tight fit and we had trouble getting it out. I'm sorry, I just cannot like this hammock. I've tested many hammocks over the past few years. I haven't seen one so seemingly unfinished before. I needed to get one more hammock of any color to finish a set of hammocks that all had three things in common: 1) They were canvas-like. 2) They all had bold colors or patterns. 3) They were all rope strung with spreader bars. I wasn't too worried about it being a true double hammock because I couldn't see myself sleeping in these. But, spoiler alert, it isn't a true double hammock. You can fit a second person in there, but not for too long and not for sleeping. My main concern is that it should be secure. I was super happy about the caribiners. They were large enough to get around the thick rope-strung hook end of the hammock. They were sturdy. They didn't catch. I was even so-so about the material. What I couldn't take was the sawing noise that the rope made on the unfinished holes in the seemingly thin, unfinished spreader bar. Between the creaking and the sawing, I was unable to concentrate on anything else. I had to inspect other hammocks. This one has the rope running from the hook to the hammock with nothing stopping it, but it is kept from tangling by that spreader bar. On the other brands, there is a knot on the top of the hole and another at the bottom of the hole. That rope is NOT sawing on the open holes. Also, the spreader bars on these other brands ARE NOT MOVING. They are pleasantly straight and parallel to the other side. On this hammock, the spreader bar just hangs at an awkward angle, moves when I move and isn't straight across, in any stretch of the imagination. And, it hangs at a different, non-mirrored angle than the other side. It's sort of like "more bars in more places" when I look at it from inside the hammock. I may have only been using hammocks for a few years, but I've never seen or heard anything like that from any of the hammocks I've seen in the wild. Please, let me know if I'm wrong in your own reviews. I love to be educated. In the meantime... Bottom line: Would I order this? That's an interesting question. Yes. I would. I would order it for the cloth, the rope, the carabiners, the other materials and the arched wood with holes in it. And, at this price, too. But, I wouldn't order this AS IS to use as a hammock. Would I gift it? Same answer, sort of. I know people who like this decoration and who are technically inclined who could fix it, but they'd probably just get more use out of it as parts. This hammock is a great size to replace our previous one that broke. The material is strong and I really appreciate that it comes with all the options you could need to hang it. Straps, rope, S hooks, large carabiner hooks etc. I love the color and pattern on this and it looks so cute in my yard. It’s nice and wide to accommodate more then one person.
