I purchased this product in hopes to remove an awfully strong gas smell from the back of an suv. Unfortunately a gas can spilled while being transported and soaked into the carpet pad in the cargo area. —————————————————————— This thing is small but packs a punch in terms of output. After reading horror stories of ozone machines making houses uninhabitable I exercised extreme caution and purchased the lowest powered option available. I’m glad I did as the machine worked wonders; and within a few days of sporadic application the smell of gasoline was completely gone. This device also has a built in timer and the knob catches at each minute even though it isn’t labeled as such. Below I will provide my own method to assist anyone unfortunate enough to need this done to their vehicle. This is simple and straightforward but I highly recommend using patience with this product —————————————————————— -Close all doors and windows of the vehicle. You want to seal it as much as possible when using the machine to make it more effective. I used a towel to keep the wire from getting pinched up by the door when fully enclosing the machine. -Run the machine for 10-15 minutes MAX. This may seem conservative from other information online but saturating ozone into a small space you sit in for longer periods of time is far worse than an unpleasant smell. This alone will save you from the 2 week long venting process others have gone through. - Allow the vehicle to vent for at least an hour between applications. This will allow the original scent to dissipate without using more ozone production than you actually need. - Repeat steps above until the unwanted odor is undetectable. The wait time is important for this because the ozone itself has a chemical scent that could mask the original odor. —————————————————————— Overall this ozone generator is a great addition to the toolbox so to speak. As a side note, the fan that propels the ozone from the machine is an exhaust so point the fan side of the device (opposite side of the knob) in whatever direction you think may need more direct application.

Works like a charm. I was staying in an dirty hotel and my room had this awful smell. I couldn't change hotels and I was stuck in town for a few days. I ordered this on Amazon and had it delivered to a locker at a nearby store. It came the next morning. I took it to my room and fired it up and left for about 3 hours. When I returned, the nasty smell was almost gone. I repeated the treatment during the day when I was gone. This thing is worth it, but if you live in California, the fine folks in Sacramento have decided to prevent you from ordering these devices. Anyway, this thing works and the price is right.

Bought this because my car smelled atrocious and I was at my wits end. My car has seen some heavy use with traveling, have been taking my dog in it for the last 3 years, using it for work etc. I did a deep clean on all surfaces and the floor of the car and the stench didn't relent. Used products like odorant and oxiclean, still stinky. Broke down and ordered this. Came on the same day and I used it for about 20 minutes in the center of the car, all doors closed. After it was finished? I let it air out for the rest of the hour and boom, SMELL GONE. Keep in mind the ozone smell can be pretty overpowering, I’d ride with your windows down if you can for the next drive afterwards. No regrets about this purchase, it was simple and straightforward to use. It seemed like the timer didn’t turn off when it was supposed to but that could have been due to my error, easily fixed by just unplugging the unit. Going to use it at my mom’s house that has a heavy smoke smell!!!

This is a mighty little machine!! I’m allergic to mold/mold, musty spores set me off and make it hard to breathe. I placed it in my 700 ft basement and use it regularly for air maintenance, mold spores. Using this really does eliminate odors and neutralizes the air and has made a big difference in the time I can work downstairs in this space. It gives me a peace of mind on top of everything. It has old timey, dial timer that I rather TRUST, over a computer chip. I can set the dial timer or put it in “hold mode” so it stays on until I shut it off. I have it plugged in my the entry door so I can just pull the plug if needed so I don’t have to go inside and breathe the air (as the room needs to air out). I put this in my basement and run it when I am out working or going into town so it is not toxic if I am in the house. I turn on the timer, it shuts itself off, and it’s that simple. Well built, quality item, and would buy again!

Bought a truck and had a smoke smell in it a few days after we bought it. Ugh we were fooled I guess. Looking into things it seems baking soda and tough work is always the best then we were talking to about ozone generators and are commonly used by car cleaners. A bit skeptical but figured in the past getting out smells over the years with various chemicals which always ended up basically masking the odor why not try this so we know at this price point. Just wow after one use and proper aeration. The smell was gone and has not came back after a few months. This device is amazing but remember to remove the main location of odor as it will make it come back. In our case we could not identify where it was and with new black interior I was hesitant on using baking soda si gave it a try and luck was on our side since it did not come back.
