I can’t believe in how many visitors immediately said, “where did you get that?! I want one!” This thing is so cool and discreetly noticeable! Looks just like a normal coffee table until you surprise people with it. So useful as a TV dinner tray, homework station for kids, impromptu desk for remote workers; so many options!! The quality is more than I expected it to be. It is quite nice. I love black but these need to come In Every color so everyone can match their decor! Assembly was not bad at all and quite intuitive. This wasn't too hard to put together. Someone mentioned they can't use it because they couldn't mount the drawers, these aren't "drawers" that go on a track, they're pull out bins that you can put things in and you just slide them into the space. Better in my opinion because slide out drawers break and bend but these won't do that. Plus you can pull them out and carry them to anywhere you need. Table is pretty sturdy and the lift up panels on top are really convenient! Love this table! ... show more

The measurements are completely off!!! It looks okay if the table is open but once it’s closed you can see it! I don’t know if it’s the same way with the other colors but for the grey one don’t buy!

Oh boy, I hate instructions like this. They’re not clear or straight forward at all. The only way to follow these instructions is best guesses and common sense. You’re almost better off completely going off of the installation video listed/shown on the amazon listing page. I wouldn’t let that discourage you though because the schematics can be figured out. The best advice I could give to help with that is before you start any level of assembly what so ever examine all of the schematic photos. The photos are the best references for figuring out which direction each piece should be assembled to prevent assembling something the wrong direction. For me this took about 2 hours to assemble. I did make one mistake with which side each leg bar should be screwed onto. Other than that I did take my time to assemble this because I didn’t want to waste time making unnecessary mistakes and I was also watching a very entertaining show. Anyways, outside of trying to interpret the P&ID looking instructions the other really tricky part is trying to get the table top properly attached to the metal hinges. Each other the table tops has two tricky screws that are difficult to properly screw into place. Second to the screws being placed awkwardly around the hinges; it’s also challenging to align the table tops to open and close with other scrapping each other or being misaligned with each other. I was able to mess with the two tricky screw on both table tops to be able to shift the table tops so that they align better and close with out overlapping too much. I do still have to guide each table top into place but, since messing with the screws to align the tops better, it’s much more manageable. As for the build I found all the pieces to fit pretty well and match exactly as expected. (With the exception of the table tops them selves) So the table feels durable enough to hold up to our day to day use. I like that the legs are metal. The storage bins are actually very impressive too. They feel very durable and I really like the metal handles on both sides of each storage bin. I love the dual lift tops which work PERFECTLY for our L style couch. The life tops open one handed but, I find it does require both hands to lower and guide into place. I also love how much space there is for storage underneath the lift top as well!! The amount of storage this coffee table provides is phenomenal! The hinges are really impressive and durable! They seem very well constructed and like they can hold a reasonable amount of weight on the table top itself when raised. If you’re meticulous this might not be the best table for you as the table tops themselves are very difficult to align perfectly during assembly. That would actually be my biggest complaint. The instructions you really only have to use and figure out once. But the lift top feature is going to be used all the time so being able to build it that the two tops sit perfectly next to each other and don’t scrap each other when opening and closing feels damn near impossible. It is a minor detail but, if you're a perfectionist or meticulous about things and how they move/functions that might get annoying to some people. Other than that this table looks great, functions pretty well and offers ample storage. I am very happy and impressed with this table for most part. I do wish the table tops were a little better perfectly fitted but other than that this table is definitely an upgrade for us especially with the storage features and ability to raise the top to function as a work surface. All in all we’re very happy with this table and despite the build challenges this table it is worth it. It looks elegant and offers a lot in terms of functionality and storage.
