  • Sturdy, lightweight, and comfortable
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
This chair has actually exceeded my expectations. It's much sturdier than the weight and price would indicate and is so easy to push. I did purchase a cushion as the occupant said that seat was a bit uncomfortable by itself when sitting for more than a few minutes. I'm a middle aged lady with arthritis myself and I have no problem lifting this into the back of the car alone, and the wheels are fairly easy to get on and off if you need to do that. The footrests are very easy to remove and insert, adjust easily, and the chair opens and closes quite easily as well. So far we haven't had a problem fitting through doors in public buildings- we don't use the chair at home so I can't speak to how well it would fit through domestic doorways. The max weight listed in the product info sent with the chair is 300 lbs, not 350 but there doesn't seem to be any problem with someone who is just over that weight. ... show more

  • Good quality, Happy with it!
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
Had to get one for my dad, and insurance wouldn't pay for it. I originally bought a 20" model, but it wasn't very comfortable for him, so got this one instead. Got to say, I'm impressed with the quality, and it's definitely more comfortable for him. He's about 5'8 230 lbs. It doesn't get fulltime use, so it still looks new, but I have no complaints. ... show more

  • Size, Adjustability, Comfort - Good…
Size: 16 x 16 Inch
My mom is very small (4ft, 8) and I chose this chair for its ability to scale down for small people. It fits her very well. She can reach the floor with her feet to propel her across the room. She just needs to learn how, unfortunately. In setting the chair up, I found myself wondering how well the wheels will stay on because it seems like an overly simplified, press-on design. (That I struggled with at first) I wasn’t confident, but it has been months now and there’s been absolutely no trouble. The fabrics are durable and the thin cushion in the chair base is adequate to my mom’s satisfaction to where she refused to add a cushion. The weight of the chair is similar to big chairs. It’s not light. The detachable foot rests are less than ideal. They are quite large with all kinds of pieces to them. Their adjustability is okay, but design wise not that great, IMO. We leave them off and rarely use them because they are so big and obnoxious. All in all I am satisfied in this chair and so is my mom. That’s all that matters, really. She’s good, I’m good and so is this chair. ... show more

  • Great solution for small door frames!
Size: 16 x 16 Inch
Perfect solution! My mom broke her leg and a standard wheelchair wouldn’t fit through the bathroom door! Lightweight, and fits through a 25 inch doorway! It’s not AS solid as a standard wheelchair chair but it’s meant to be lightweight and great for temporary use, in the home and out to doctors appointments. ... show more

  • It works and rolls. Not great but not horrible.
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
For the price point, very disappointed in the materials being used on the seat bottom and seat back. It’s a lightweight cheap fabric not vinyl, like the vast majority of wheel chairs. Have only had it a little over a week, but use it neatly all day every day as I am recovering from leg surgery. It’s smooth and stable at the present time. It’s so lightweight though, I’m not sure it’s a durable long term solution that will hold up. The folding leg supports are very difficult and cumbersome to adjust. The calf pad is just terrible. I have to fold it out of the way to avoid the non stop constant pressure. I don’t have the leg supports attached right now as I only use it in the house. Candidly, if I had it to do over again, I would not buy this particular chair. I would go to a mobility store and try out the ones I could sit in, test drive and inspect the form, fit and function. This chair is lightweight. Servings the purpose I need it for “right now” as I’m coming up on the end of needing it. ... show more

  • This chair has been great. It's lightweight
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
This chair has been great. It's lightweight, easily folded for transport, and reasonably easy to self-maneuver indoors or in smooth surfaces. Outside, in weather or even on wheelchair ramps, it's a bit harder to self-propel and I've often needed a helping hand. Still, for the price, it's been a great transport chair. I wound up also ordering full length arms, as trying to push off the desk length arms to stand/transfer was difficult , but even the desk length arms were in the way when trying to self-propel, so I frequently have the arms flipped up when actually in the chair. It's wide, which can make doorways difficult, but you probably won't have any trouble at most accessible places. At nearly 6' tall, my biggest challenge was finding a chair that was the right height, and with a standard seat cushion, this one is almost perfect. ... show more
