  • Very happy with purchase
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
I'm really happy with this purchase. I bought this because I was having a hard time getting around on crutches. I am very happy I purchased this. It does take more work to use this on carpeting, but still much better for me than using crutches. I find it's actually easier for me to wheel myself backwards. You may find your hands, arms, and shoulders are sore the first few days of using this, but then you get used to wheeling yourself around. I have also ordered so wheel chair gloves to help protect my hands as well as grip the wheels. I find this very comfortable, and a lot of the time I'll just sit in it to watch TV, rather than transfer myself to an arm chair. I have a hallway that is about 32-33 inches wide and I can get through it if I am aligned properly. My arms and hands do take up room on both sides to wheel around, so if you are being pushed you might be able to get through a wider hallway, The only assembly required is putting the chair back in place and putting on the foot rests. My only complaint is about the manual that comes with it. The manual includes poor quality black and white pictures to show the parts of the chair, and how to adjust and assemble the chair. If they used a higher-quality printing process or used line/mechanical drawings, it would be a big improvement. ... show more

  • A PERFECT FIT AT A REASONABLE PRICE
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
Owning this chair makes a huge difference with regard to my mobility around the house. My previous chair was too small by a factor of several inches. Not only can I easily move about the area but due to the geometry of angles and forces, it's MUCH easier for me to ambulate. That is something only someone that has limited mobility can attest to. Those who know that a power chair is indispensable for use around the neighborhood and for close by shopping, can tell you that inside a home or apartment they can be well overpowered and actually cause some significant cosmetic damages. A manuel chair is the only solution for those that are able. There are dealers that provide other manuel chairs but in my humble opinion because of the insurance coverages they will charge literally 10 times the amount for a chair that is unarguably equal to what you can find. I am now the king of the castle! ... show more

  • Good wheelchair
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
The is a good wheelchair. This is the 3rd one I’ve owned. It is much lighter than my previous chair. I don’t walk or stand so I spend at least 10 hours a day in the chair. It holds up well. The seat is vinyl so it does sag after awhile which is why this is my 3rd chair over 4 years but again I spend 10-16 hours a day in the chair. ... show more

  • Sturdy, lightweight, and comfortable
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
This chair has actually exceeded my expectations. It's much sturdier than the weight and price would indicate and is so easy to push. I did purchase a cushion as the occupant said that seat was a bit uncomfortable by itself when sitting for more than a few minutes. I'm a middle aged lady with arthritis myself and I have no problem lifting this into the back of the car alone, and the wheels are fairly easy to get on and off if you need to do that. The footrests are very easy to remove and insert, adjust easily, and the chair opens and closes quite easily as well. So far we haven't had a problem fitting through doors in public buildings- we don't use the chair at home so I can't speak to how well it would fit through domestic doorways. The max weight listed in the product info sent with the chair is 300 lbs, not 350 but there doesn't seem to be any problem with someone who is just over that weight. ... show more

  • It was not sturdy enough. Wheels rubbed the side of the chair.
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
The wheel chair rolled easily out of the box, the back was simple to install with several options for height adjustment for the back placement with a simple button style way to slip it on. It was pretty and new and I was very excited to try it out. It did have a lot of give though, before sitting in it, the arms were a bit wiggly, and there seems to be some give to the chair. But it seeemd really nice. I sat in it and the seat seemed to give a bit, which caused the arms to somehow shift (hard to explain, they sort of bowed in at the top of the armrest but out along the bottom by the seat. It didn’t feel safe or sturdy. Then as I tried to roll the wheels to move, the way the seat and arms moved caused the wheels to rub on the side of the arms rests, on both sides. Myself and 2 others sat in then chair, it did that shift with each person. When no one was sitting in the chair, the wheels rolled fine and didn’t rub on the sides of the chair. But when all 3 people sat in it, the chair shifted in a way that caused both wheels to rub. (The lowest weight of one person who tried it was 175 - so I’m not sure how the chair can have a weight limit of 300lbs - all 3 of us are 5’11” and taller) It was a very pretty, lightweight nice looking chair. Sadly, I have to return it as it would be unsafe to use the way it shifts and rubs with the wheels. I think the weight limit needs to be adjusted for much smaller, lighter weight people. I wanted it to work as like I said, it was very nice looking chair, just not sturdy enough. The wheels rubbing was a deal breaker so I had to return it. ... show more

  • This chair has been great. It's lightweight
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
This chair has been great. It's lightweight, easily folded for transport, and reasonably easy to self-maneuver indoors or in smooth surfaces. Outside, in weather or even on wheelchair ramps, it's a bit harder to self-propel and I've often needed a helping hand. Still, for the price, it's been a great transport chair. I wound up also ordering full length arms, as trying to push off the desk length arms to stand/transfer was difficult , but even the desk length arms were in the way when trying to self-propel, so I frequently have the arms flipped up when actually in the chair. It's wide, which can make doorways difficult, but you probably won't have any trouble at most accessible places. At nearly 6' tall, my biggest challenge was finding a chair that was the right height, and with a standard seat cushion, this one is almost perfect. ... show more

  • wish I didnt have to have it.
Size: 22 x 18 Inch
Chair was not as sturdy as I thought it would be. wiggles like wheels are loose. I took it in and had al the nuts and bolts checked and tightened. Still feels odd. I am going to have to buy the next one from a high priced store so I can try it out before I plop down $300 bucks again!!
