Overall a great product in durability and stability. I have had this product since November 2017 without any major issues or the need to replace parts. It has a nice smooth ride. I had a little trouble folding and putting in my car and it is so big that it is not convenient to maneuver in most places --including my own apartment. It is not the products fault, the world is not handicap friendly in terms of space for walkers and wheelchairs. I highly recommend this product and its great....until a part wears out. It will more than likely be a wheel since that gets the most wear and tear. So you call Medline to get the part you need. You will need your model number to order. It will be a sticker on your walker, see picture 1. It will start MDS. When I called I was put on hold over and over and sent to three different call agents. I had to order a rear wheel. It was $18.33 for the wheel and 7.95 S&H. You can pay through insurance or credit card. They were trying to give me a shipping date but they could not see it for some reason. You do get a order confirmation number so have pen and paper ready because that will be all you have to check on your order, also by phone. They will also give you the part #, fyi a rear wheel for this product is MDS86800XWRW. I was told to call back to get a shipping date. I ordered it on the 18th and got it on the 22nd of July. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed of delivery. But that is when the pleasantries ended. The part comes in a plastic bag without any instructions how to replace it, see picture 2 (toes not included : ) The product manual does not explain how to replace the wheel. YouTube nor Google has any instructions on how to replace the wheel. The inside has a smooth flat sliver plate, picture 3, and the outside of the wheel there is a black bump in the center of the wheel, picture 4. So it is not blatantly obvious how to replace this wheel--or at least it wasn't to me. You will need a flat head screw driver or butter knife and I had to use needle nose pliers because I did not have ratchet set. The black bump is a cover and comes off to reveal a lug-nut. Loosen that lug-nut, remove, and then take the wheel off. My wheel was wrecked as you can tell from the parts left after removing the wheel, picture 5. Remove all the old wheel parts left, the black plastic comes off too but leave it on, picture 6. Don't be dumb like me and try to remove the screw in the leg. I used a hammer, etc and ruined the threads. After 30 minutes of experimentation & realization, I discovered a simpler solution. Do not try to use the screw that comes in the plastic bag. Simply put the washer back on the screw in place, put the new wheel on and put the old lug-nut back on or use the one from the new screw. Replace the black cover and your good to go. I bent my screw and ruined threads trying to remove the screw, that is welded into the frame, before I realized the screw was welded into the frame and not coming out. So forget trying to take the screw in the frame out and replacing the screw, just replace the wheel. My screw was fine--until I went hammer time on it. Now I may have to buy a new walker if I cannot buy the specific frame part. I emailed info@medline. com to find out if it was possible to order that piece of the frame. Do not waste your time emailing. Instead of answering the question "yes" or "no" or saying, "that question is too involved to answer over email, please call so we can help you". I got a snarky reply telling me to call customer service if I had any questions. I called Medline 7/30/19. Let me give a shout out Heather, the call agent and Brian, the product assist. You guys rock! Five star customer service! They were very nice and helpful. They went above and beyond to help me. You can just buy the part of the frame, part # for left rear wheel section, MDS86800XWRWA. It's $50 plus 7.95 S&H. The frame is lifetime warranty so Heather wanted to send me to quality control but I told her it was not faulty equipment just me going hammer time. I mention this because if your frame has issues, that were not caused by you, then it is probably under warranty. Me, I cannot be covered under warranty because I caused damage while trying to replace a part. So now the decision to buy a whole new walker for $100, the part for $60 or a different walker cheaper in price. I like the durability and stability of this one so I will probably buy this model again, if I decide to buy a new walker, since I know the performance level and now know how to properly change a rear wheel on this specific model ;)

Wow! I remember riding in a big old boat Cadillac El Dorado when I was in high school and thinking it was like driving in a big enclosed sofa and the doors sounded so substantial when you shut them. This rolly reminds me of that kind of quality and it looks good too. Don't let the bariatric in the title fool you. Anyone who wants more than a 12 inch seat like on the other lighter duty models will love this one. It even works for skinny butts. They loved it too. The height of the seat makes it easy to sit and get up. The handles would be good for taller people and have plenty of adjustment for everyone. I am 5'6 and like my handles high. I even had to adjust them shorter which is great! This rolly is comfort and stability for my gimpy knees. I rolled and sat in comfort all day at a couple events already and couldn't be happier with it. I have been opting out of fun events and outings because of the knee pain but now I can do those things and go places again. I wish I didn't need it but am so glad I got it! It was very easy to put together. No additional tools needed. The hardest part was figuring out which wheels went on the front or the back and if we needed the plastic inserts that came in the holes the wheels and handles go in. The inserts were probably for protecting the paint until you put it together. You just take them out and don't need them for anything. Not that hard. It came with a book but by the time I read the instructions my sister had it half put together already without help. We checked the velcro attachments on the "trunk" under the seat as we call it. They were fastened but I lined them up and squished them together well since I have a heavy water bottle I was going to put in there. I also bought a B01M16W8UU walker tote bag for the back rest on Amazon. It fit great and is water resistant which will come in handy when using it outside on rainy days. I filled that up with brochures at the show and it kept my phone right were I could get it easily. This rolly walking seat is well built and so stable. I wanted something anyone in my family could use if needed. This has a nice wide seat and 500lb weight limit. We don't need all that capacity but the fact that it is built for it means it should last a long time. I looked at a lot of models and manufactures and read a lot of reviews. This one is bigger and heavier so getting it in a car is harder but you can take the handles and back rest off easily and the wheels too if it comes to that. Only takes 5 min to put back together once you know how. I was also really impressed with the price. It was on sale for 92 bucks! I used it all day at the flower and garden show and it was great for walking and sitting. I went with three other ladies and they all used it for sitting too. I had to kick them out when I wanted to walk or sit on my own rolly! We piled on all our bags, plants and loot we bought there and wheeled it to the elevator and rolled back to the car in the parking garage. It went up and down the ramps and the brakes worked great. A couple days later I went to another event where we had to park and walk quite a ways in a big parking lot. It was icy since it rained the night before and froze so they had spread deicing granules. it worked fine and I felt more confident than with a cane. My feet did slip but since I had both hands on the walker I didn't fall. Then, once inside, we had to walk more to get to our seats in the 5000 seat theater. The seats we had the night before were full in the gimpy section but there were wheelchair spots so my friend took the only seat available and I used my rolly walker seat next to her. I locked the brakes and it was better than the theater seats there. I had a great view above the heads. Great height for standing up and sitting down easily. Handles a great height for holding onto while standing in front of it to take the pressure off the knees. Just like a higher arm chair. Brakes made it stationary and stable and I had everything I needed in the trunk for all day at the event. To go to the restroom I pushed it up the aisle of the theater. It was pretty steep. It rolled nice and was not hard to push going up there. It fit just fine with me in the handicap stall. No problem at all except I had to wait for that one since the line was so long. Now all it needs is a bike bell so I can part the crowd when I need to get to the coffee stand and I will be all set!

I bought this one to use around the house. I got tired of taking my other one in and out of the car. This one is nicely made with a wide seat. It was easy to put together once I was clear on where the front wheels went. I like the burgundy color a lot. The storage pouch under the seat is not very big. Can only fit a small purse in it. You cannot adjust the height from floor to seat and it's on the taller side. I am 5 feet even and my feet dangle with only my toes touching floor. That would be a major problem if this was my main walker. I like to sit in the seat and push backwards with my feet to quickly get around, which I can do fine with my other walker.

This walker is large, sturdy, easily assembled, and very stable. The wheels roll very smoothly, even on dirt trails. They positively glide on floors. Even carpet does not slow them down. The underseat container is fabric, with no holes, so anything can be stored there with no fear of loss. The back of the seat is comfortable and well-padded. The frame is steel and sturdy. The braces that fold so the walker can be put in the car or trunk fold easily. The hand brakes are on both sides, and work well. You can roll or stay in one place if seated. The only downside to this walker is that it's heavier than most, at almost 30 pounds. It's well worth buying. If I thought I would need another, I would buy this one, but this is sturdy to last for a very long time. You likely will never have to buy another if you start with this one.
