This pediatric folding wheelchair for children is comfortable and durable, with elevating leg rests, desk-length armrests, easy-clean vinyl fabric and a steel frame. This little wheelchair is perfect for our five year old! It was partially put together in the box, just needed to snap on the arms and leg pieces. It seemed to be missing a brace bar on the bottom (showed in the instructions) but he’s pretty light if we need to tilt back - there is a large loose seatbelt that you’ll need to wrangle with and locking brakes - the child handles it very well, we usually push him but it didn’t take him long at all to learn how to go forward, back and do a 180. Easy to collapse. Very grateful to have found this at a great price to get him as mobile as possible while healing. ... show more

I was worried that the chair was going to be too big or too small. My six year olddaughter is 3.75 feet tall and weighs about 45 pounds. She was able to reach both tires and maneuver around her school independently. It fit perfectly under her first grade desk, so no transfer to a chair necessary. The chair comes fully assembled right out of the box. The handlebars are adjustable as well as the leg props can be extended for taller children.
