Ordered a set in black, the belt I recieved was technically brown on the front. Suppose I can reverse it to the black backside, but the coating on the pleather isn’t as nice and seems less durable than the front, biggest downside though I is that the studs holding the belt are pretty obvious if turned reversed.     • Decent assortment of accessories.

It’s a decent assortment of accessories for a ren faire outfit. I split the accessories with a friend since I already had some items or didn’t need all of them for my outfit. The belt is definitely big enough either for a large person or to loop around for a fun look and can be trimmed with sharp shears for a clean edge if you need to. The shoulder piece and the bracers are pretty stiff and have a strong synthetic smell to them, but that’s nothing that airing them out and flexing them a good bit won’t fix. The bracers are definitely meant for a medium sized arm. They wouldn’t fit on my friend at all, who’s a pretty big guy, and loose on me even with the laces taut. I ultimately lined them with Sherpa to make them more snug -and comfortable- and wore them. You could probably get longer laces though if they’re too small, and you have to lace them yourself with the cord provided anyways, so it’s not a big deal. The cord provided is just raw cut, so you might want to wrap the tips on tape or burn them to seal the edges so they don’t fray while you lace though. The shoulder armor piece is a bit of an odd size. It was too small for my friend and too large for me. Because I didn’t have the time, I didn’t use it at all, but I plan to alter it to fit me. Also the straps are a bit awkward to buckle yourself. All of the belt accessories were nice looking. The bottle holster is a bit of a flimsy pleather, so I wouldn’t trust it to hold more than the decorative plastic bottle it came with and something light inside of it, like a string of LEDs or colored resin -definitely not a glass bottle filled with liquid, lol. I also wouldn’t fill the plastic bottle it came with with liquid. Since the cork it came with is pretty thin and not coated in wax or anything, it’s definitely not water tight and could cause an accident. I did notice that the bottle holder came with a little loop that you could use for a wand or maybe a pen or something, which was neat. The sword holder was surprisingly the only thing that was real leather. The quality on it was great, though the lacing provided was a bit short, and of course you’ll have to lace it yourself. It wasn’t stiff, so that was great. Lastly, the shawl was honestly just a cut of soft felt or knit fabric with a safety pin. It’ll probably unravel over time, but it’ll work a couple of wears. My friend ended up using it as a sash. All-in-all, it’s a decent assortment of costume accessories, perfect for a ren fair or Halloween costume. There’s definitely enough stuff that you could split it with a friend too. And the quality is decent, but what you’d expect from this sort of thing, and the more you try to work with it and style it, the better it’s going to look. ... show more

Belt isn’t as pictured. It only comes with top brown belt. Gauntlets are what you would expect for the price. Will need to form them as they get smushed during shipping. Cape was good as well worked for my sons costume.

Honestly I was a little concerned it wasn’t going to be the best when I saw some of the other reviews but I am genuinely impressed. Everything is very comfortable and fits well. The cork and the bottle sit securely in their spots. I told my friends about this immediately and we’re all going to purchase them to have matching sets. The cloth is super soft as well. I bought this because I own a mobile axe throwing trailer and wanted to up my look. I am 6ft 250. I do have body fat but I have a ton of muscle, as is the viking warrior way. Needless to say, the pauldrons, bracer, and belt set (type 12) are not for guys with larger biceps, forearms, and chest. I couldnt close the buckles around my arms, barely fit around my chest, and bracers barely fit. Quality matches the prices, PU leather feels soft and not likely to peel quickly. I was really hoping to look badass for the festival I am doing tomorrow but I guess the leather armor will have to wait. Will be returning, but I would recommend it for others looking to play the part! ... show more

Unless your head is the size of a small cantaloupe you won't be able to wrap this cloth in any way. Very soft though! And the rest is great

These are really cheaply made. The material is plasticky feeling and the bottles cork is not water tight so dont put fun colored liquid in it if you are wearing in on your belt. It worked fine for what I needed but definitely costume grade.
