I and my cats are very satisfied with this combo hammock/scratching post. The hammock material is pleasantly stretchy and for the first few days all three cats pretty much cycled in and out of it. The leaves are kind of a goofy touch (and we'll see how long they last) but I don't think they pose any risk even when chewed on. Surprisingly, they don't care that much about the little spring toy that attaches to the base, but your cat mileage may vary. Value-wise, at under forty bucks, I don't think you can beat this. I've paid thirty for a lone scratching post of the same height that was always tippy due to its overall light weight. This one benefits greatly from the counterbalance provided by the rest of the structure, and overall feels nice and sturdy without being attached to a wall or anything. The instructions were pretty meh, but at the same time you barely need them in the first place for something this simple. ... show more

This cat scratcher hammock is a nice size and the base is nice and wide, so it does not top all over when my biggest cat who is over 25 pounds gets in it. The sisal wrapped around the polls is nice and tight and glued down very well. It only took me about 20 minutes to put it together is a very easy. It’s easy to clean. Just run the vacuum cleaner hose over it and it’s good as new. Even when the cats are scratching on it, it does not pull over which is good, the only complaint I have is the foliage on the top. The cats have stripped 50% of the leaves off. The leaves are not attached very well to the stems so I can see where that’s going to go really quickly. Other than that, it is a solid cat scratcher, and I am very pleased with it . it came with everything you needed to put it together and the instructions were precise and clear, it’s picture instructions. If they fix the problem with the leaves on the top, it be well worth the money you pay for this. ... show more

This is a very well made cat tree that was really simple to put together. The leaves at the top make it really cute. It is a nice size for my smaller cat to use. She really likes the self scratcher that comes with it and uses it often. This is a great value cat tree and I would recommend it for sure
