I got the 18 inch queen size for a family member who is almost six feet tall. It works good because they don't have to get down to low at night or struggle to get up in the morning! Definitely sturdy and it works well.... you know holding up the matress. I'm glad we no longer need a box spring as well! I'd get another if I needed to. Sturdy, has a sleek look, plenty of storage underneath, no squeakiness or looseness. Frame seems to stick out a bit further from the mattress, so need to be careful of the corners. I'm not sure if the bed keeps sliding or what, so take that info with a grain of salt.
