By applying gentle downward motion with some twisting easily breaks up ground meat on a pat or pot. It's not necessarily game changer level better than other tools, but I do think it saves maybe ~30% time. My one gripe with this is that the meat stuck in between the crevices can be annoying to clean. Since it's hard to get a sponge in between the blades, the fat from the meat can be stubborn to wash out.

If you want the best meat chopper this is it. Very sturdy and will last a long time. Others say they are nylon but are lightweight plastic and have a narrow stem. Others are 2 piece and this is 1 piece nylon.
