At first look it seemed too small. However, it has all the power of the much larger and heavier Ryobi it replaced. Its light weight is handy, and the battery is adequate for most jobs. For me, its a bargain.

This is a handy little drill and it doesn't look like it will handle the load of a heavy job but it will. It also comes with a handy set of drill bits that I've used on steel projects.

Love this little guy. I used to own a 12 Volt drill and I was never happy with it. Never go lower than 20 volts, unless you're need it for arts and crafts, or something similar. But if you're doing handyman type work, never go lower than 20 Volt drills. I'm not a carpenter or woodsmith or anything, certainly not a professional. I only do the rare odd job around the house, and this little guy is more than perfect for my needs. My only regret is not writing this review sooner. Highly recommend!! ... show more

This is the first actual tool kit that I've ever gotten and I'm not the most knowledgeable guy when it comes to power tools, so this review is coming from a layman's perspective. That being said, I thought it worked very well and it does exactly what it says it does. I used it to do some work on my car recently and it worked very well removing bolts and screws. It comes with a rechargeable battery which was fully charged in less than a half hour of me plugging it in to the wall. It was pretty easy to handle and simplistic to use for the most part(which is really saying something as I myself know very little when it comes to power tools like these). It was also a lot more lightweight than I thought it would be and it comes with a nice little set of different sized drill bits to use on it. It's not that big a set of drill bits, but it has a pretty decent variety to choose from. My only real complaint is that the instructions that come with this set don't really have any pictures illustrating how to properly connect the drill bits onto it, nor does it explain what all the buttons do or how the settings work on this device. In fact, the instructions seem to leave out a lot in this regard. To someone who is new at this like me, it was a little confusing at first, and I had to kind of play around with it. Luckily, most of it is pretty self explanatory and it worked great once I figured everything out. I just wish the instructions were a bit more helpful. I don't know how well this drill in particular compares to other drills on the market, but on it's own merit I thought worked well.     • My 12 v Harbor Freight Drill outperforms this Poor Drill
I bought this drill after reading the reviews. I have used it 6-9 times with dood results however today while driving 3 ins screw through wood the motor started to smoke and gave up on me. I ended up using my $15 12 v Harbor Freight Drill to drive in the screws with no issue at all which has a 90-day no quibble warranty thats more than the 30 day limit this thing has. Walk away from this one folks and find your nearest Harbor Freight Tools. Update - the seller provided a very generous solution and refunded the total amount for this drill which I sincerely appreciated - Thank You for your outstanding Customer Care ... show more

Wasn't the best quality made tool but it'll do the job for it's price. Spoke to the seller and made a quick solution about the first unit bought.
