The mirror is very well designed and is also easy to install, as long as you have the right Allen wrench. The included wrench can be a bit of a problem, since it's equal length on both sides. A wrench with a short length and a longer length would work better. The tightening mechanism is a good idea, but I found that it works loose easily and frequently needs to be retightened. Make sure to bring your Allen wrench along with you for at least the first few rides. Once installed and tightened, it's a great mirror for stability and ease of seeing the rear view. Too heavy for a cyclist concerned with weight, but excellent for our scooters and for a heavier touring bike.

Love this mirror. I purchased it to go on the left side of my Specialized Roll V but I wasn't sure if I wanted it on top or bottom of my handlebar. I read in the reviews that you could work it to do either so I went for it. I decided it would be less intrusive and easier to use if it was on the bottom so I just took the mirror part off and flipped it around to the other side of the attachment piece. Super easy to adjust with the hex wrench thingy that came with it. It's kind of hard to tell from the picture but the mirror sits directly below my left grip and doesn't get in the way at all. I have a great view of cars and bikes coming up on my left. Everything stays exactly where I have positioned it. Highly recommend!

I have been using this bike mirror for a few weeks and I am very impressed with it. It is easy to install and adjust on the handlebar. The mirror is made of scratch resistant glass, which is very clear and durable. The mirror has a convex shape, which gives a wide view of the road behind me. The mirror also has a rotatable joint, which allows me to change the angle of the mirror according to my preference. The mirror is very useful and safe for riding. It helps me to see the traffic and avoid accidents. The mirror also has a silver color, which matches well with my bike. The mirror is lightweight and does not affect the balance of the bike. I use my mountain bike to commute on rural roads. Since I'm a "portly fellow" 200+ lbs. I needed a mirror that could look past my sweatshirt and backpack that I ride with. This mirror was the perfect fit. After installation, I was able to see behind me and I could angle the mirror enough to see both lanes at the same time. I purchased the silver coat mirror, and it works best for me at night and in the daytime. The elongated mirror was great for a broad situational awareness. My purchase did include the allen wrench to install it, and installation was easy. Just pay attention to the size of your handlebars before purchase as some bikes are different, and may not fit. After installation, adjusting was easy. I tended to bump it when dismounting, but it's easily adjustable. I would recommend keeping the allen wrench as it may loosen up on long rides, but I haven't noticed that to be a significant problem. It was perfect for my needs.
