Bought this as I used to have the old rapport from 30 years ago and didn't want to spend a lot on the model that is deemed the cadillac. I used the rapport as an EMT. This new one seems much better than the original and is great. It's not the best as you're not paying the high end prices but if you're just doing blood pressure this one is very clear for that. ... show more

Have been buying the cheaper version Sprague's for years. I found that the bells would fall off while working or the plastic parts that held tubing together would break. Decided to spend a little more am very pleased. This one is light weight and the sound quality is better. Much more comfortable to carry and use. Will see how long it lasts. If you need a cheap reliable steth, this is for you. As a surgical resident, we RARELY use stethoscopes. In fact, I usually don't carry one as one of the students will have it. But after the lack of medical students carrying stethoscopes (seriously, what's going on?) I decided to get something cheap. This compares to the Littmann Classic II, in my opinion. It's reliable, loud enough, and dependable enough for me. You can hear rubs and murmurs just fine with it. And it's cheap! So if you lose one, not a big deal! ... show more

I'm a nursing student and bought this for in school. It's a nice classy color (all black) and it's very functional. The quality matches that of some of my fellow student's littman stethoscopes. Can't beat it for the price. I use it every day on the ambulance. I have some hearing loss and I have no difficulty taking BPs with this, even with very faint pulses. I was concerned about how well duel tubes would hold up (I thought they'd separate or rub on each other), but I haven't had any issues whatsoever in the four months I've had it. ... show more
