Assembly was pretty easy, other than where the back mates to the bottom. Bit of a struggle in bringing those together. The back piece is wider at the mating spots than the bottom cushion. Comfort is pretty good, but could be better. The only thing I dislike is where the back and bottom come together, there should be more butt room. I'll be using this in my motor home while boondocking in Arizona for a few months of the coming winter. Maybe the manufacturer could move the connection point between these two pieces back a few inches? It would be almonst as good as my Lazy Boy recliner I have at home. Hard to beat the Lazy Boy! This chair/ottoman combo should be just fine for motor home use for 3-4 months of winter. We shall see. ... show more

We have had this chair for over a year now. It looks as good as it did on the first day. We do not use it a lot as it’s more of a guest chair but no issues. My son is 6’2 and falls asleep in it easily. I don’t think it’s meant for a tall person but it works just fine. We just ordered two more in the saddle color for another room. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars as the swivel is not really smooth. Perhaps that could be fixed with a little silicon spray but we have not done that. But overall, we have been happy with this chair. ... show more

Well... I almost wrote a bad review for a perfectly good chair. I made a mistake when I went to put the armrests on, and just to be sure that I wasnt about to get assaulted by the internet, I went back to the instructions for a fourth time just to be sure I didnt miss something. Anyways, I'm just going to leave the origional review as its, because it still has some good information in it. I have one complaint about this chair. The seams all look like my 200lb *** is going to tear them apart. They do not look sturdy enough for the average 6.2' male. If I am wrong, I will come back and fix the review, probably. I actually really like the look of the chair. When I picked up the boxes from the porch I could tell that this was going to be a rough experience. I know my UPS driver and she's very good so I dont thing the boxes had anything to do with her. However, the way the box was taped made me immediately think that this was a returned product from an unsatisfied customer. All of the screws and washers were thrown into the same bag together and they were wrapped in a way that made it look like Ronald Weasley just pulled them out of his sweaty pocket on the train to Hogwarts. I'm a smart guy, I can separate by size and shape and count up to the quantity on the instructions. Honestly, none of this really bothered me. The chair looks really good and will fit really well for what I had planned for it. That was until I went to attach the armrests. There are holes drilled into the bottom of the armrests, and the top of the chair fixtures that they are supposed to be screwed onto... There are two 8" x 2" plates that go in between the armrest and the fixture on the chair. They are important! If I believed that this chair could hold up to 200lb for at least 3 hours a day and last for at least 2 years, then I'd give it 5 stars. It looks great. It's comfortable. The chair and ottoman is just what i wanted. It is comfortable and sturdy. I am 6'2" and 190 lbs., and it fits me just fine. Assembly was a bit sketchy, though. No written instructions, just pictures. OK, not too bad, but the attachment of the back to the seat does not need to be tightened hard, just a bit, so the chair will tilt back. Also, I received 5 washers not listed on the parts list that i don't know what to do with, as they were also not in any pictures. This is really a great chair. Very well-made with quality materials. Artificial leather that was used, is highest quality, artificial leather that I ever saw. However, it’s not the easiest assembly. If you do not have some mechanical skills, assembly, might be a by me a problem. The things that makes it even harder, is that I have difficulties finding instruction manual. I open the chair box, and began assembly, without assembly manual. And I got in a trouble. When I open the second box, where was the footstool, this is where the material was sealed in in plastic bottle of the footstool cushion. But even the assembly manual was not particularly clear. So it is the gray chair and the footstool, however, it’s really difficult to assemble. ... show more
