This is an incredible chair for the money. I have a bad back that has required multiple surgeries and I'm always on the look out for a comfortable, easy to use recliner. Because of that we have two very expensive Stressless Recliners in our home that I love. We recently bought a new Stressless for me at the cost of over $2,500 for our new TV room to watch sports. We needed another guest chair and sought something comparable but less money. THIS CHAIR IS IT. Looks as if it 10 times more expensive, really comfortable, easy to assemble ,and requires a small space to recline so less wall space is needed. WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THIS PURCHASE. Two small notes: 1. The swivel is loud. Some easy lube like Ivory Soap helped. 2. For us, it needed a head pillow. Not a big problem and an easy fix. This recliner/swivel chair replaces what my bride called “the beast.” It “was” a big recliner that overpowered the rest of our furniture. After considerable procrastination, I decided to “go for it” and purchase this model/color. It arrived in 3 days. Assembly took just over 2 hours. Assembly instructions need serious refining! The photos were simply inadequate. As one who has put together lots of things (furniture,, toys, etc.) this unit provided several head scratching moments. With most “some assembly required” products, there’s some parts that MUST be installed prior to the next step. Those type instructions were missing for this chair. BUT, once assembled, we’re IMPRESSED with the chair. It’s comfy, attractive, works as advertised and does NOT overpower our other furniture pieces. ... show more

I liked the aesthetic of this chair, and ordered 2 of the cream-colored ones for our living room. They arrived early and each chair is delivered in 2 different boxes, so we got a total of 4 boxes. The first thing we noticed out of the box that one set of brackets that attach the arms to the chair were missing. What other reviewers have said about being a pain to assemble is true - do not attempt it alone, it is a 2 person job. So 3 hours and plenty of cussing later, we were finally ready to attach the arms and discovered that the pair of brackets we received were not even the right size for the chair. Currently I am waiting for the manufacturer to honor my request for 2 pairs of brackets so we can use the chairs without the arms falling off every time we get out of the chairs (the arms are L-shaped and slide down the side of the chair so they still look good, they just aren't anchored down). Aside from that they are comfortable and stylish. If it helps anyone, my partner is 6'1 250 lbs and the chair is a little short for him but it works and he sits in them anyway. ... show more

This is updated review. Purchased in June of 2021; when you swivel the chair; it has a grinding sound; tried to add oil all around the bottom and it did not help. Then the screws came loose for the rocker bottom and the chair almost fell off when getting up from it. It is difficult to get the screws back in tight as it cam assembled and you cannot get to them to tighten them. Now the foam in the arms have shifted; your arms rests on wood instead of a soft foam. The material on the foot rest is coming off at the corner. You do not even use the corner and we keep a throw on it all the time so nothing touches it; so it must have been too tight when it was made. We do NOT have children here and no one sets in this chair but me so it has NOT been abused in any way. The chair is nice to look at and is very comfortable to sit in, However, it is very low to the floor so on day 1 I purchased a cushion to add height to the seat. If you are older or have bad knees this chair will not work for you. Over all, I would NEVER purchase this chair again no matter how nice it looks. Dont be deceived by the good looks and the nice comfy feel as it does not hold up. I am contacting the seller once again about the problem. I did purchase the extra warranty but the original warranty isnt even expired yet. Buyer asked for a picture; a picture does not show even part of the issues; only that the bottom has become unattached from the chair and you can fall backwards if you try to recline in it or even move a little to the back. ... show more

I bought the Saddle color and it is very attractive (appears a wee bit darker than in the photos). All elements of the chair were parkaged very carefully, with ample cushioned wrapping over the wood base to protect it from scratches. Very high quality wood base finish. The swivel works very well, without any grinding or other issues mentioned by other purchasers. The chair rotates perfactly, with subtle resistance so that it does not whip around like a ball-bearing bar stool. As mentioned by others, the single sheet pictogram instruction is poor. I recommend using an electric drill with a metric hex bit (ideally, a long bit so it reaches the two hard-to-reach screws attaching the lower arm assembly to the chair). The vinyl fake leather material is very attractive, and great care was obviously taken at the factory to attach it tightly to the frame. I have not experienced any puckering or loss of cushioning in the armrests, suggesting that earlier units might have been working out the bugs. I bought my unit in Feb 2024 and I experienced none of the quality issues mentioned by some earlier purchasers. The chair was delivered in two boxes and the contents were very effectively protected from damage by a ton of cushioning materials. I did not set a world-record in speedly assembly, but had I used a long hex bit in a drill/driver (I have since ordered a set) I would probably have assembled the chair more rapidly. The included manual hex tool slowed things down, particularly when reaching and tightening the hidden lower screws holding the arms to the main body.
