I purchased two of these for elderly family members who are still mobile but have trouble standing or sitting. They mostly needed a bit of help from the seated position, but they also wanted something comfortable for sitting for prolonged periods. So far these chairs have exceeded expectations. I was initially skeptical of buying these chairs. I'd never seen one in person and never heard of the company so had no idea what to expect. Time and logistical constraints meant that I pretty much had to order something sight unseen. OK--deep breath and fingers crossed, I dumped two of these into my Amazon cart and checked out. Delivery went fine. Both chairs arrived on time and were handed over to the facility where my family members reside. I wasn't there for the assembly but my understanding is that it went smoothly. I first saw the chairs a day or so later. I peeked underneath-- construction looks good, no loose cables or obviously terrible welds. I sat in each chair and took it for a test drive, going from full recline to full lift. Everything worked fine. No weird noises, all movements smooth. Fit and finish on the upholstery is good. No loose stitches, no weird lumps. The chairs are comfortable. They lifted my 200+ pounds with zero trouble. Nothing feels cheap or fragile on these chairs. It's been about 6 months since these were delivered and they have been in daily use. No problems so far. They continue to be comfortable and provide just the right level of assist to reach a standing position. Yes, I initially balked at spending $650+ per chair, but in retrospect they are worth every penny. The price has actually gone down about $20 since I bought them. Inexpensive? No. A good value? I've had mine for about a month and everything seems to work fine, even with a small motor. One can barely hear the motor. It's virtually silent and very smooth. I'm near 80 y.o. and have difficulty standing up. This chair erects me (277 lbs.) up to where I just have to stand up. So far so good; even the non-leather one which I prefer because my bare legs tend to stick to leather. It has convenient side pockets and holders at the end of each arm for water, beer, wine or whatever. On the right arm I place the motion control although it has a mount on the side of the unit to hold the control. I have no use for vibration or heat, however they both work. My response to Mcombo when I purchased one of the remotes for their poorly made lift chairs. They had the nerve to cancel my order and tell me that they are sorry instead of accommodating me and then ask me if they solved my problem!!: The information said that one item was available. I purchased it and I was told that it was being shipped. I received an email saying that it was no longer available! I'm a 71 yr old disabled person and I really needed the item! 1st of all your lift chairs are not put together well 😑! The screws constantly fall out of the part that lifts the chair and no matter how many times the screws are replaced they continue to come out or break! I purchased this Mcombo chair in 2019 and just a few months after purchasing it it began to be a constant issue. It was past the last day of return and I didn't purchase the warranty because it is too expensive. I referred you to a very dear friend and she purchased lift chair from you and she began to have issues too. She'd purchased the warranty however, it didn't cover repairing the entire issue so she would have pay out of pocket more than it'd cost to purchase another chair. Both of us are on fixed incomes and we're both disabled. She passed a couple of months ago which has nothing to do with the chair but plenty of times we struggled just to get up to the bathroom because we are both incontinent. I hurt in my body every where and I get cold a lot. I've already replaced the remote control to lift my chair because the cable came aloose from the remote like a cheap cell phone charger because it was poorly made. Now my son-in -law is changing the screws every day because they keep breaking. I've asked one of my daughters to purchase me another lift chair because I'm afraid that the screws will come out or break when I'm home alone and no one will be her e to help me get up like yesterday. I used the bathroom on myself for several hours because I was home alone with no one to help me get up. I cried because I felt so humiliated. You know that your products are poorly manufactured and parts need to be replaced so you should always have them available and not for a ridiculous price. I'd seen the remote replacement for the heat and massage but it was $90 plus dollars and could not afford to buy it. When I saw it was $25 and there was only one I felt like one of my so many issues with my chronic disease was solved and I would be able to have some and massage therapy for my painful body. I know that you can provide me with that replacement remote control but you'd rather send me a dear John letter as if it solves my problem with your product! It's not acceptable! I've read other reviews recently that people having the same experience and you are dealing with derly sick and disabled people. You are a cruel heartless company and I don't know how you sleep at night in peace when you are supposed to be providing a product that provides peace for a people who desperately want to be able to be comfortable and as independent as possible during our final days. You should invest in fixing the problems with your products and services. I will never refer you to any one again nor will I eve purchase any Mcombo lift chairs or products from you!! How damn hard could it be to provide me or others with the remote that I need?!!! You can do much better if you have the best interest of people at heart! However, it's obvious that you are only interested in making a secure financial future for yourself!!! You will definitely reap the seeds that you are sowing be The Most High has promised this for everyone, including me!! No one is exempt!!! No! You have not solved this problem!!!! ... show more
