I read some of the other reviews… I didn’t have any trouble putting it together by myself. But I will say a few things. First of all the instructions keep mentioning don’t tighten the screws if you’re having trouble lining up the holes… There are only holes in the top piece there are no pilot holes in the piece you are going into do you have to be sure you’re screwing in squarely. Second, be careful putting the back panels on that you have them them right side up, the picture only shows them from the back side there are shelf supports on the front side. Don’t hang the doors until you have it leveled in the place you’re putting it. I had to put shim pieces inside the rubber feet to level it as there are not adjustable legs.

This was not simple to put together. I am pretty handy and have put together lots of furniture, and other kit items. This one took a while. I spent about 2-3 hours on a rainy afternoon in my garage carefully putting it together, mostly following the instructions. A few of the steps require some balancing of awkward pieces so I ad libed . It got me there. Once I finished the shed it looked great! It is very soft and porous wood, so I applied an oil based sealant liberally to the entire thing roof included. I then hauled it to the garden on my lawn tractor. It's a very good looking shed but don't get in a hurry to put it together and make sure you give yourself plenty of time. I recommend building it somewhere with a floor like a garage rather than on site just to provide stabile level place to get things lined up and secured. By the way, easy to penetrate the soft wood with a hand screw driver. I eventually just did that rather than use my power driver.

This shed is fairly easy to put together, if you follow the instructions. Wood on sides and back are thin however once together, it is ok for light outdoor equipment. Wouldn’t put anything heavy against sides or on shelves. However, it is very nice looking.

I put this together myself in a couple of hours using only a drill. The softer nature of the wood would allow you to put it together with just a screwdriver, but that would add quite a bit of time. Adding the hardware at the end I did have to bring up a picture online to see exactly what went where, but otherwise I found the diagram-only instructions to be straightforward. I'm very happy with the overall look of the shed and the fact that it holds everything I needed to, but I must say I'm a bit nervous to see how it will hold up over time. The quality of the wood doesn't seem to be the sturdiest, and even when full assembled there is a bit of movement in the overall structure. Although outside it's pretty protected from the elements with a slight overhang above so I'm optimistic.

I agree with others who mentioned the thinness of the wood. I agree, but it also gets constructed in a way that reinforces the shed. It’s sturdy enough to hold many of my shovels, although my rake handles are too long to fit. The shelves hold lots of garden supplies! The instructions are pretty pathetic, so you’ll need to study them a bit so you don’t have to backtrack. It’s like a poor man’s IKEA. I will say that it was packaged very well, and I noticed only one small material flaw. Overall, it works very well for my needs.

I’ve never been more disappointed in an Amazon purchase than this shed. Spent two hours trying to assemble the shed only to conclude that it would be worth having fully assembled. Too flimsy to for real garden tools (shovels and post hole diggers, etc.). Might work for pillow storage. Just bad. The above was my reaction to the quality of the product, but I raised my star ranking from one to three stars because of customer services which was very responsive to my quality concerns, accepted a return and refund, and asked for suggestions for improvements, which I didn’t expect but provided feedback. Customer service convinced me that it wants to redevelop its product to meet the competition. And I spent far more for a replacement wood shed but feel I got a far better deal. I will try to convince the company that it should go up market, given the dearth of quality small sheds in the market. I compliment the company for its customers service.
