I purchased this chair for my husband to facilitate his getting up from a seated position, as his legs had gradually weakened over time from lower back surgery. The chair is great and he loves it! It's in our library (and looks elegant), where he sits and reads for hours at a time, and when he wants to get up the lift raises him to a standing position. So easy! He also enjoys the massage and heating features. We had the chair for over six months before we noticed a little damage to the leather, and I contacted MCombo via email. The next day I received a response from Emily at MCombo Customer Service, apologizing for our experience and requesting that I email photos so they could assess the damage. Once I did, Emily replied the next morning that two replacement chair arms would ship out immediately and to please confirm our address. Within a couple days the shipment arrived, and the dye lot was a perfect match. It also was very easy to snap the new arms into place. I am already happy with my purchase!! Wait, there is more! I did not know it had USB ports for convenient charging! It had a second remote! Heat for my back and massage too!! You can choose to massage your entire body or just shoulders, or calves, any combination you want. It can be gentle or more intense. You decide!! Love my new recliner. Sturdy stable comfortable! 2 boxes delivered quickly, one which was heavy that the fedex driver left at the bottom of my steps, the light one he placed up on my porch. I guess he thought this 62yr old was stronger than him. Anyway once I got it up the steps which was a challenge for me, and in the house, it was nothing at all for me to put together .I slid it out of the boxes and pushed it around the room to the perfect spot. Love the vibration of the massage and the heat is nice. No hard rollers or pressure on your body which always hurt me because of fibromyalgia. Its not silent but not too loud either. USB works and the lift is marvelous for my future use. Gray color is great. large cup holders. Recommend, however it could have better lumbar support but not bad. ... show more

This has been one of the greatest gifts i have purchased. I got one for my father and another for my uncle. They love reclining and the help standing up. One has knee and back problems and the other has right side weakness no use of right hand. They are gorgeous and super helpful chairs and i am so appreciative of the price. Got this for my mom because she was having trouble getting out of her rocker recliner. The lift is perfect for her to get out of the chair, the massage and heat if perfect also.     • Perfect scale for petite woman and easy to operate.
I purchased this chair for my 88 year-old mother who suffers from dementia and is no longer capable of learning new skills. I needed a chair scaled to her 5'1"-5'2" frame and a gentle lift that would allow her to stand up to her walker as she has great difficulty propelling herself upright even from a hard-framed chair. I was very concerned about the lift "ejecting" her too harshly and that a more complex remote with multiple commands definitely be too complicated for her to use. My handyman brought the boxes into the house and assembled the chair and the electrical connections. He felt the directions were not correct or clear enough, so he did struggle a bit with the electrical connections. I was disappointed that there was not an installation video available that shows how all the different cables are connected, and I could not find a company phone number to get help. This is a weakness with this chair. Once assembled, we were shocked at how smooth the chair motion is and how easy it is to operate the motion remote control from the fully reclined position to the upright "lift" position. There are just two arrows for direction, one that points up and the other that points down, and they are both lit up bright green. My mother had absolutely no problem operating this simple remote! I know she will not be using the massage/heat remote which is too complex for her and much too noisy. We stood right next to her in case the movements were brusque, and the tilt mechanism might eject her too harshly, potentially causing her to fall. To the contrary, the motion was slow and incremental, so an elderly person has plenty of time to decide when to stop the motion and control it at any angle. It is the most marvelous chair! My parents are elated, and I am beyond thrilled to have found a chair that my mother can use without any frustration or fear for her safety. My mother also exclaimed that the chair hugged her perfectly as it is truly designed for a petite woman and not just someone who is larger. This is only our first day, so I hope that it continues to work well in the future. I could not be happier with this purchase! I would, however, ask the manufacturer to produce an assembly video. ... show more
