This was super easy to put together. No tools needed. I’m terrible at putting things together and I got it assembled in less than 30 minutes. Came in two boxes. I easily moved the two boxes into the house. One was 88 lb and one was 30. Lb. One had an arm rest and the base (the heaviest box) and the other had the other arm rest and the back of the chair. Two little feet with bolts had to be screwed in on the bottom but was not difficult. The instructions are only two pages and only pictures. Very comfortable. Enough padding where you don’t feel the lift mechanism bars. USB ports on the side worked well. The motor is quiet and smooth motion from reclining to lifted into a standing position. I got this for my father who is 77 and has bone cancer. He had a huge smile on his face when it lifted him up and made it easy for him to stand. I will update if there are any problems, but so far this is a great chair for the price. I got the dark brown and the color is beautiful. No funny chemical smell either. If you are thinking about getting it for an elderly person, it would be great. My dad is 5’8” and 240 lbs. perfect fit for him.

We are thrilled with this chair. My husband had knee and spine surgery and this chair is perfect for his needs. It came in one day and I was able to put it together myself with no tools. It slides together with a couple of bolts and nuts for two support feet. So easy I couldn't believe it. So far so good. The motor works perfectly and is very quiet. It is comfortable and good looking. We are very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this chair to someone with mobility issues.

My 81 year old aunt needed her first lift chair. I looked for lift chairs in my area and they were around the $1,800 price. Checked AMZ and found this one. Arrived in two boxes - one was REALLY heavy. I had to use a hand truck. Set it up this morning. Took about 20 minutes. Sliding the parts into certain grooves can be challenging. Plugged it in and it works fine. Chair is comfortable and well worth the $400. Now, I weigh 170 pounds and tried it out and didnt have any problems. My aunt only weighs 100 pounds and thats even better for this chair. My personal recommendation is that if you weigh 250+ pounds, this chair may not be sturdy enough. Just my opinion. Check other reviews and go to a local store to check others for their sturdiness. Otherwise, a great chair for a 100 pound aunt!

We just received the armchair, so far so good, I like the fact that when you lay back it raises your feet almost over the level of the heart which helps with my dads feet (blood circulation). I hope it lasts a long time. The fact that helps him get up it’s a plus since he also has a problem with getting up. He is kind of tall and his feet hang off the leg rest when he tilts it back but its comfortable., they could make an armchair for bigger/taller people.

I ordered this chair for my wife who has limited mobility and COPD. The assembly was very simple and the motor is whisper quiet. She likes all the little features- like cup holders , built in charger outlet for her cell phone and the storage pouches on the sides. Seems pretty flimsy. From be for a smallish (<175lbs), but I wouldn’t expect it to hold up real well or long with a large person. Motor may be fine but linkages and structure don’t seem to robust.

Got this chair for my elderly aunt. She had trouble getting out of her previous chair. This chair is very supportive and the usb and cup holders are an excellent addition. We have had it for about a month and have been very pleased. The price was very reasonable also and easy to put together.
