I looked at a lot of accent chairs at different stores as well as Amazon. I had seen a chair very similar to this at a furniture store for $500.00, plus delivery. I read the reviews and decided to take a leap of faith. First, the chair was packed wonderfully, it took me longer to unpack everything than to put it together, I’m 4’9”, 67F, 100lbs, I had no problem, no help. So this is what happened, we loved the chair ( 3 cats, hubs and me) this chair was meant for another room, I ended up rearranging the furniture in the living room, we take turns. At first I ordered the dark green one, it looks like a beautiful peacock blueish green on the website, however the actual color turned out to be pretty much a dull washed out pickle green. So I returned it and reordered the yellow one. The actual yellow is not as bright and saturated as the one on the website though, more like a subdued vintage goose yellow, but much better than the green one, overall it is a pretty yellow. The chair is soft and cozy. The bummer is that there were some stains on the fabric at the backrest. I highly suggest the seller update their website pictures to make them match the actual colors more. ... show more

Love, love, LOVE this chair! It is extremely comfortable, just as all of the other reviews described! I got the burgundy or deep reddish-purple color, and it is beautiful! Some of the other reviews mentioned the color not being true to what was advertised, however, I received what I was expecting. I would say that it is pretty sturdy, and if not, maybe just tighten some screws. All the pieces and parts were included for assembly, but I only needed to assemble the ottoman (very easy) and add the cushion to the back of the chair. Be very gentle when zipping the back closed because the zipper is thin, and a little cheap, and will easily come off track. I was able to fix mine with some small pliers. But the chair is wonderful! The velvet has a nice sheen and is so soft. The seat is oversized and extremely comfortable. I may purchase a second one match the first! ... show more

The chair and ottoman were easy to assemble, look good, and are comfortable. But the reason I'm writing this review is to thank them for their excellent customer service. When the package arrived and we assembled the chair and ottoman, we noticed that the ottoman was missing one of the protective plastic feed that fit onto the metal rails that make up the frame. I contacted the vendor by email and explained the problem. They shipped out a replacement frame which arrived within about a week of the original package. There were stitching imperfections in the back padding and the frame was so uneven I couldn’t push the screws through.
