Very well made soft tipped nozzles. Better choices for spray patterns, I especially like the 50 and 60 degree. They easily store on my stubby gun. They don't get in the way like other bulky soft tip nozzles. This design is compact but will still protect your car from accidental damage. I had a little hiccup with my order, but I contacted McKillans directly, and they straightened it out right away. Top Notch customer service!!

I own a McKillans nozzle with a black rubber guard, and while it might not be fair to compare them in terms of price due to the difference in unit cost, those expecting the same quality as McKillans might be a little disappointed. I've previously purchased McKillans pressure washer hoses and nozzle tips with rubber guards, and I was impressed by their stylish design, quality, and attention to detail (such as the use of Viton leather for the quick-connect gasket), which appeal to weekend DIY enthusiasts. While the design and packaging of this nozzle tip are certainly appealing enough to pique consumer interest, I didn't feel the same excitement when I actually held it in my hands. First, the tip guard isn't soft; it's a slightly soft plastic rather than rubber. Therefore, if a self-locking connector is used and it flies off when you remove it, it may damage the body. SOFT NOZZLES is an exaggeration. Second, attaching and detaching it to a short pressure washer gun is stiff and not very precise. In this respect, it's no different from cheap Chinese-made nozzle tips > This is simply a Chinese-made chip, commonly found on the market, with a slightly unusual guard attached. It seems to have many positive reviews on Vine Customer Reviews of Free Product. While the price of this set, which includes five chips, seems reasonable, it didn't satisfy my desire to own something special, in true McKillans style, even if it meant paying a bit more.

McKillans continues to make very high quality detailing equipment, even if some of their pricing occasionally suggests they believe everyone washing a truck is secretly operating a Formula 1 pit crew. Thankfully, these nozzle tips are actually priced reasonably and are a genuinely solid upgrade over standard pressure washer nozzles. The biggest advantage is absolutely the 50 and 60 degree spray patterns, which are surprisingly difficult to find elsewhere and work extremely well for vehicle rinsing. The wider fan pattern covers more surface area, rinses soap faster, and feels much safer around paint, trim, and delicate surfaces compared to the narrower concrete destroying tips most pressure washers include by default. The soft rubber exterior is also a nice improvement because it makes the nozzles easier to grip with wet hands and reduces the chance of accidentally scratching paint if you bump the vehicle during use. Build quality overall is excellent. These are also genuine stainless steel components, unlike many cheaper nozzle sets that casually describe shiny mystery metal as “stainless” right up until rust starts appearing three weeks later. The quick connect fittings engage smoothly, and everything feels durable enough for long term use without corrosion issues. I also really like the color coding because it makes identifying the spray angles quick and easy instead of forcing you to squint at tiny engraved numbers while holding a pressure washer wand dripping soap all over your driveway. The included spray angles provide a good range of versatility for different cleaning tasks, and swapping between tips is quick and easy. Overall, this is a very well thought out nozzle set with genuinely useful improvements instead of just cosmetic marketing nonsense. Great quality, excellent performance, and absolutely worth it if you regularly wash vehicles with a pressure washer.

I picked this set of pressure washer tips up from my vine account because they have some unusual qualities not found on standard tips. I reviewed another set of four tips a while ago and while they worked as expected...they were just like every other tip you've ever used. This set of tips however, come in a set of five with new spray angles ranging from 60° to 15° and feature a rectangular, soft bodied design which not only makes them easier to grasp but also makes them less likely to damage your car in the event of accidental contact. The body is a 1/4" quick connect made of 304 stainless and come in orifice sizes ranging from 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 so make sure to check your original tips and order the correct size. I used these this morning while washing my car and they work perfectly! They really provide the power you need and the coverage to remove all those foam cannon suds right off the car quickly and efficiently. These tips are very nicely made and easy to use regardless of the task at hand. After I removed all the soap from the car I did an unplanned, imprompt test on a small area of my driveway which I had cleaned some months ago. With these tips I was able to quickly and noticeably clean much larger areas than I could with my other tips. Honestly, I was quite amazed! While these tips are a bit more expensive than some others, they are worth every penny in my book. I highly recommend them and give them FIVE, FRESHLY WASHED STARS!!!
