I bought these shoes because they looked like they were a more solidly built version of sketchers shape ups for work shoes, which are no longer made and were the most comfortable work shoe I have ever worn. For the most part, they were just what I expected. I like the bowl bottom feature and find this style to be very comfortable in a standing all day type of setting. These are very solid and heavy shoes. I work in a kitchen. My only complaint, and unfortunately this is huge, they are not at all slip resistant. If there is any moisture on the floor at all I would slip. If there was water, forget about it!! I might have well been walking on ice. The looks of the soles are very deceiving. They look like they should be slip resistant, they just are not and that sucks considering I paid 224 bucks for them. ... show more

Correct length from heel to toe, but the front of my foot is clamped so tight on the top of my foot, there's no way I could wear these for more than an hour. I don't even have wide feet.
