Mayful Flush Mount Light Fixture, 2-Light Rustic Ceiling Light Combine with Metal and Wood Frame, Farmhouse Flush Mount. I replaced my outdoor porch light with this light. I wanted something a little more elegant looking than just a white globe. I will have to admit it took me almost a whole day to install this it was not easy to do. You first remove your old light and install the mounting bracket to this light. If you're like me and don't have anyone to help you it is best to take a piece of wire and wrap it around the mounting bracket then to the light fixture to hold it in place so you can connect the wiring. That makes it much easier to do. The problem that I had is that the bolts on the mounting bracket and the two holes on the light fixture are close to the same size. That makes it very difficult to try to hold the light up and line the two bolts with the two holes. I ended up shredding the insulation just trying to mount this fixture. I ended up having to unscrew the wiring nuts and take the light fixture into the garage, removed all of the installation, and took a drilling bit and drilled a hole into the light fixture that was smaller then the decorative nut that holds it into place. I reconnected the wiring and on the very first try I hit the two holes just perfect. So a quick word to the wise, drill the holes a little bigger to save you a lot of time. Due to the difficulty that I had installing it I give it 4 stars. I feel that it should have came direct from the factory already pre-drilled with larger holes to make the insulation easier and include 2 black washers. That is a defect of the manufacturer. If anything should happen to this light in the future I will update my review. ... show more

So let me start off by saying my entire home is decorated in a Farm house style. And this light fixture tied in perfectly with our theme. It is very well made and beautiful. They have other styles of light fixtures that I have also purchased and we are very pleased. I love the metal and real wood the fixture is made from. It adds a entire new element to our home and has really upped our decorating game=) Everyone ask me where I got it. You can not beat the price either it is such a good deal. the fixture is a nice large fixture and installation was quick and simple. I am going to be ordering two more very soon. I promise you that you will fall in love with this fixture and it will blend in well with just about any look including modern and industrial style home décor. I got 3 similar fixtures to install in my kitchen. I had never done light fixtures before but was reassured by others that I can totally do it and don't need to recruit an electrician. These came all assembled and just require you to take off the mount. The directions were pretty straight-forward but I also viewed a video online as these weren't set up exactly as the ones they were replacing so I wanted to make sure I did it right. With the FIRST of the 3 I followed the directions exactly, including feeding the house lines through the bracket and then mounting that, then pushing the caps back into the box after attaching them. Well, this was tough, the caps barely fit back into the box. So the next two I had my husband support the fixture while I attached the lines above the bracket before mounting the bracket. If I didn't have a second person to help this job would have been considerably more difficult. It was also nice to have a second pair of hands for lining up the screws on the bracket to attach the fixture as there is a tiny hole both need to go through and it's hard to find them... especially for the fixtures that had insulation on the top, which was 2 of the 3. The finished product looks nice. They work well. Happy with these. ... show more
