This is a fantastic little LEGO set; I got it for my daughter when she was 4 1/2 and she was able to do a lot of the assembly (we had to deconstruct and fix an error here or there). What a sense of accomplishment! And then she was able to really play with the toy, including as a vehicle and playing "family" with the dolls. So it has a little something for every kid's interests and I feel like provides a lot of entertainment for the price, especially considering that LEGO are always a pricy toy (but worth every penny... we purchased knockoff LEGO one time and it was a horrible build with an end product that didn't even stay together well enough to pick up, much less play with.
