First, it's easy to install! Second, it looks great and matches our dining room table light, even has the same glass shades. And Third... That very glass shade (as with most) is extremely delicate. It's extremely thin and cracked when I went to install it. These types of glass shades need to be installed very carefully and can't be over tightened. I barely got the collar up to the glass and it cracked. I can't leave cracked glass up so I had to remove it, and finding this particular shade seems like a challenge. The irony is that I installed a different light the day prior with six of the same glass shades and all went well. Murphy's Law strikes again, and this single one broke. Looking online, I can't find another the same size so the hunt for a replacement begins. First photo is the new light without glass. Found LED equal to 150 watts that would fit in narrow glass cylinder. I use it for a porch light outside , but with a roof. Not a problem, Great. Light to illuminate steps to our home.
