Simply put - it's a toilet seat. It does the job. It's slow-close so it never slams, looks great, and it's incredibly easy to install. I wrote this review because I wanted future purchasers to know: *use a socket wrench.* If you're like me, a crescent wrench or something similar won't allow you to get up under the lip of the toilet rim and you'll have a bear of a time trying to tighten the "nuts." Socket wrench - no problem, takes 60 seconds to tighten it up and you're good to go. ... show more

Pros: (1) easy installation; (2) soft close works great, and won’t collect pee under the mechanism like many others. Cons: (1) color is not bright white, but rather off white, which simply doesn’t match many/most white toilets; (2) super flimsy— just sitting on the lid when closed bends it in (yikes!); (3) when shut, the lid overhangs the seat by 1/2” or so, and looks really poor-fitting.
