They have been out of my shade for the last couple of weeks at my local store so I had to order from Amazon. I used to have acne and I think it’s from makeup clogging my pores. After switching to this product, my skin is completely clear and just looks like glass skin as they say. I constantly get compliments on my skin and how great it looks because you cannot even tell that you are wearing anything with how sheer this is with just a tint, but it’s still covers flaws without you even being able to tell. This is my go to makeup. I use it daily inside of foundation. It provides the perfect amount of light coverage. It doesn’t smell bed, has an amazing texture, and doesn’t make your skin oilier than it may be already. It lasts all day. I already plan on buying my 3rd bottle soon.

I really wanted to love this stuff. I have combination skin that can be acne prone. I’m not a makeup buff, nor am I that great at it, I’m a lazy female when it comes to makeup lol. I hunted for a while and read a bunch of reviews on different foundations and different products to see what could work for my skin, since I’d had so many failures in the past. I saw all of the glowing reviews and got excited to try it, as I’ve tried several foundations in the past that went horribly wrong for me (increases acne, patchy spots, caking). The fact that this had salicylic acid to combat acne made it seem perfect. When I initially put it on, it was nice. It blended smoothly, the color matched my skin tone well when it blended, it gave me a little bit of extra color and a healthy glow. It had a slight burning/tingling when I initially put it on, but that went away quickly. However, after a little while of wearing it (30-45 minutes), I’d see it getting cakey in some spots and patchy in others. I was surprised since I didn’t expect a BB cream to do that. I tried to fix it, but it only got worse, so I wound up washing it off. I noticed that it was also making zits pop up on my face, primarily on my chin/jawline and around my nose. I was really surprised. I switched up my routines 3 or 4 times after that as trial and error, trying to see if I could fix the problem. I tried different moisturizers, different application methods, different washing times, different amounts, trying setting powders, etc. I had the same problem every time. I am a 61-year-old female. My skin can get oily, but I have large pores, which really bothers me, and covering them without liquid foundation sinking into every single pore on my nose was impossible. No matter what primer or skin care regimen, nothing worked. Finally, I tried this product. Let me preface this with what I do BEFORE applying the foundation: I use the toner in the tall orange bottle that a young woman on a noted social media platform raves about. Then I follow up with retinol and hyaluronic acid. I let that sit for a minute or two. I apply the foundation. I do not like a great deal of foundation, but I applied it with my fingertip. Then I use a kabuki brush and apply foot powder to the brush, just a bit, and work it into the brush on the palm of my hand. I then lightly pat my nose and the rest of my T-zone. Oh momma!! I could not get over the coverage of my pores! I even did heavy yard work, came in, and all is well, no creases in my wrinkles, none of that sliding of foundation at the edges of my nostrils or my chin. I could not and still don't believe how this stuff is now the only foundation I will use. The foot powder? Great stuff to maintain any oil that may appear. Use very little!
