I bought this as a college student in case I have guests sleeping over. It's a good size and is very easy to assemble both ways. I find it comfortable to sit on, but my friend said that she had found it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on because of the indents on the couch. However, she has a sleeping bag that she puts on top of it and it fills in the spaces. She sleeps very well once that's done. So heavy!!!! It took two Amazon drivers to deliver it to my apartment. When my daughter and I tried to move the box to the room it was going to be in we couldn’t budge the box! So we opened the box and the chair is shrink wrapped firmly. We even had difficulty opening the shrink wrap. They really did a good job of wrapping it. Once we opened it we saw the chair had three parts. Two very large bolster pillows and the main chair. We carried the two bolsters first - still heavy! Then the main chair which was incredibly heavy and well made . No loose threads or the fur material shedding. We had to drag it to the room we wanted it. Finally we set it up. You can either use it as a chair or open it up as a bed. The bed comes with straps that you click together when you have it in the chair position so that the chair doesn’t open or slide. The two bolsters go on top. Incredibly comfy! Great support. If you need to just wipe clean with a washcloth and mild soap. My daughter and I sit on it to watch movies and our little Maltese and little maltipo just hop on and sit with us. They also love to do parkour on it! I bought the black chair but it comes in other colors. Highly recommend! ... show more

This is a substantial piece of furniture. Easy to assemble, you take it out of the box and unwrap it and it puffs up to full size. Be warned the box is heavy. As a bed it is a nice size and comfortable. As a chair/seating, it’s a little low to the ground. But perfect for a sleepover. The only downside I’ve noticed after several uses is that the decorative buttons pop off very easily. We’ve already lost three. It doesn’t affect the use but it does change the quality of the look. Not bad. I slept on this for a night when I first moved in. Slept fine, wouldn't want it for too many days. It truly keeps expanding every day this last week. I bought 2, but didn't open one to see how I like it. I did open it last night, after lounging on the first one for an hour.. decided to unleash the second one. My pictures are taken about 7 days after opening the first, and 10 hours for the second chair. One star off because foam is very un uniform, there are a few VERY hard chunks that are in very uncomfortable spot. I am hoping once the foam loosens up I can push it around through the fabric. If I can't do that, I will have to cut a small hole and pull it out.. it's that hard and impossible to ignore if you sit a long time. They are as cute as the pictures, the corduroy fluffs over time. If the second chair has no hard bits I will change to 5 stars. Down to 2 🌟 It's just awful to sit on, the foam is wildly inconsistent..bumpy hard bits actually make it feel like sitting on a toy stuffed in there. I wanted to love them, and the way they're packed there's no way to return them. The cat likes them and they look nice. I'm sad. ... show more

Perfect for that occasional house guest of the younger and smaller size. As an adult, I was comfortable on it as well, but being of a certain age means back problems if I don't sleep on a particular style mattress. Picked up this convertible chair for the children and young adults that visit me a handful of times each year. When it's not being slept on, it's a comfortable chair for both humans and pets. I keep a blanket over it so that it's easy to keep clean since my cats think it's their bed. It's big and heavy and can be a struggle for some to convert to bed and back to chair, but it's worth it.
