First one I bought was only 40 watts. Very dim. I used it elsewhere and purchased this one for my kitchen. Great very bright. Equivalent was 100 watts I think. 5 settings for lumens(?) from bright white to warm yellow. I used the medium setting. Perfect for a smallish 8’ wide condo kitchen.

Ordered this Maxxima 14 in. LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light - 5 CCT to install in the kitchen of a Dojo space I am working on remodeling. Overall happy with its build quality, dimming and light output. Recommended. I am a journeyman electrician and have installed quite a few fixtures in my day. This one came packaged in a branded box with the basic hardware needed to make the electrical connections. The mounting bracket is a little bit more limited in it's screw locations but should work with most ceiling boxes and could be easily drilled out for the rest. Plenty of wire leads are provided and it's not the scary 20 gauge stuff you see on some of these made in China fixtures. I tested it using a cheaper dimmer and it responded well, full range dimming without any flicker, you can see that in my test setup on the counter there. It is bright with a good distribution of light and 5CCT using the switch for control. Seller offers a 3 year warranty and it's clearly ETL listed. Solidly made with a actual ground wire... Overall I am happy with the design and performance. Only slight gripe is that I actually prefer the fixed color tone lights that have 90+CRI rating, but it was clear on the listing exactly what this product was and it fully meets and exceeds those representations. ... show more

This light looks fantastic as a replacement of an older flushmount fixture. It took only minutes to install after removing the old light. It is well made and sturdy, a high quality piece! The materials are solid, and the wiring is good quality copper wiring. The instructions are very well written, clear and concise.
