Bought a wall mount tire storage on Amazon, but it turned out to be a poor purchase. Tried this instead, and am very happy. Casters are very effective, with minimal installation out of the box. Very sturdy cart and rolls over a garage floor with ease.

It is made well, molded plastic, but heavy duty enough, the wheels swivel easily and roll nice. You have to attach the caster wheels, but they attach easily and have nylon locking nuts so they do not come loose. Only one of the wheels has a brake, which is not adequate to stop it from moving once all four of my wheels and tires were on it. Any slight incline or bump from a person leaning against it just moves the whole thing. The brake locks on the wheel but the wheel just slides on the concrete floor. Overall, very convenient and easy to move my wheels and tires around the garage, just wish all four caster wheels had brakes. ... show more

Could find the wheels at first, but center has a well done center storage compartment so you can hide these away if removed. Think thos was an excellent feature. As for the rest? Its a simple dolly to store tires on... very sturdy.

Really excellent product. Does exactly what it is designed to do. Very sturdy. Excellent price and value. All you need is a 1/2 inch (.5 inch) socket (or a 13mm socket if you only have metric) to attach the wheels. Product is amazing both in quality and value. I purchased on dolly to check it out and the next day I ordered two more (3 cars, 3 sets of tires). A couple of suggestions: 1) Put a big sign on the package that the wheels are in the center compartment. I had no trouble finding them but a lot of people (by the their own admission) do not read the instructions. Then they get frustrated and blame the manufacturer!!! 2) Not a big deal: In your instructions include the fact that a 1/2 inch socket is what is necessary for the locknuts of the wheels 3) Nice to have: You may want to include an extra washer and locknut in case one gets lost. 4) Even nicer to have - but not absolutely necessary: You may want to think about including two locking wheels rather than one. Even if you were to increase the price by a dollar or two (or 5) it is still a great price for an excellent product ... show more

While leaving tires stacked on the floor is fine, having a dolly definitely makes it easier to actually move them around for storage/installation. And yes, also for cleaning the garage corner where the tires are! Quality, plastic and medium-heavy casters, but seems to be perfectly suited for home use. ... show more
