    • Incredibly sturdy and well-designed
While it may require 20-30 seconds to fold this step/stool, it is sturdy. The interlocks on the folding mechanism are easily undone with one hand. Will definitely buy another one when I need another one.

This is a sturdy step stool. My only complaint is that the black strap handle on the side tore off the 1st time I grabbed it. Not a big deal for me, because the stool holds a portable A/C unit for the summer, and I will put it away in the fall. But could be important for others if moved around a lot. ... show more

This stool is very strong. I bought to get low washing my car or work without a ladder. I am a big guy, 270 lbs. It is very stable. My wife loves it. She uses to plant or work in her flower bed.     • Stable, sturdy, safe and lightweight
This is a great little platform. I use it to load kayaks on my Outback's rooftop rack. My only nitpick is that I'd prefer that be they manufacturer offered a model that was 2-4" taller and maybe another inch both wider and deeper. When the ground is slanted or uneven, the extra height would come in quite handy. At 6' tall, it does take some strength to position the kayaks, especially on windy days. The extra height/width/depth would add just the right amount of stability and leverage to make life a bit easier.
