I was skeptical because as any car guy knows, "it's a QuadraJUNK". I was going to buy an Edelbrock but I wanted to keep this Firebird all stock. I bolted it on, filled the bowl with fuel and it fired right up and idled on it's own. I adjusted the idle speed and barely touched the idle air mixture. I am in shock but as an old vet to rebuilding these carbs I have to say, well done! I have a couple other projects in the works and I am considering maXpeedingrods carburetors for those also after this experience. Sure beats the hassle of rebuilding and tuning (I'm getting old and don't have the patience anymore). 5 stars for shock factor alone. Value for the money

Color looked like it would have in 1976. That’s the only good thing about it. Runs lean and fuel leaks out of the accelerator pump rod. Bought it for a restoration project and thirty days past the return window we got a chance to install and fire up the new crate engine. All of fuel system from the tank, lines, fuel pump were replaced. Disappointed! Went with a carburetor from Summit.

Worked great, installed in my oldsmobile 330 v8, throttle linkage fit perfectly, it is a little bit less heavy than the actual quadrajet, it worked the first time no adjustment needed, as of now great and way cheaper replacement carburetor.

Chevy C20 truck started right up the first time and has run great with this updated carburetor. The original quadrajet never really worked well even after multiple rebuilds and a later model rebuilt replacement. Highly recommended.

Terrible carb, leaks so bad it filled my oil pan with fuel. Leaking from the accelerator pump and the shaft in the side. Don't by. Byer beware. Very disappointed in this 5 star rating.
