Neither end is sharp, both are rounded, so it makes it awkward to carve letters or words into candles. I still prefer to use a thumb tac for more control and precision. This wax tool does the job and is easy to keep ahold of. The size is nice and the sharp point is good for carving sugar and diamond concentrates to the size I need. The spoon end is a nice size as well but still is easy to dump into my pen canister. Maybe a bit high priced considering I found a 2 pack for just a few dollars more but the color is what I wanted. ... show more

You can find the same thing with multiple of these for slightly more, but I only wanted one. It feels very durable. It’s the perfect size. The pointy end is very sharp. There is a slight imperfection in the oil slick design on the one I received.
