This was one of my son's favorite Christmas gifts this year. He really enjoyed assembling each project and I was thrilled with his delight! Here are some specifics that make this a great gift: 1. Very clear instructions. Out of the whole book, my son only made one building error. 2. All pieces included. You have to disassemble each project to reuse the pieces, but there isn't any need to find pieces around the house to complete any project. 3. Super cool press-outs make each project more fun and interesting. NOTE: my son did need help a few times with pressing these out and taping them together. 4. It all fits back in the box/book for storage. NOTE: the box flaps tore so we taped and trimmed them to make them easier to open and close. 5. Great hand-on way to learn about simple machines. This was a hit with my two boys, who are 9 and 7. I definitely recommend this set and I am considering getting another one from this series. My only issue would be that it requires that you already have a good variety of Legos at your disposal. You’ve been warned.

Lots of really fun projects in here and teaches so many engineering concepts for the kids to use in other creations. The pictures are easy to follow, the only part I had to help my six year old on was folding the paper pieces.
