This booster is perfect for my 6 year old grandson. It doesn’t take up as much room in the car and he is able to buckle and unbuckle himself very easily. It seems well made. I like that it folds. It has a bag to tote it in and can be taken along on a trip.

We travel often and now that my kids are booster size/age I was excited to find this product instead of lugging two huge car seats while traveling. It comes with its own bag that feels substantial, not like the crappy car seat bags one would buy online. It feels much more safe than a backless booster for sure, which is what I was considering for travel. The quality of this Maxi Cosi is great, better than, say, Graco or Chicco. My only two gripes are that the cupholders suck and that the isofix doesn’t close flush to the seat, it sticks out by about an inch. This makes me worry about the bag ripping over time as isofix is the contact point when you place the seat on the ground in the bag. Just seems weird. The other issue is that you can’t remove the back to use as a backless booster, what would be a nice feature. ... show more

Bought for a trip to Europe. Installed on a rental, worked well for a couple days, applied some pressure against headrest when trying to grab a bag in the backseat across from the booster seat and it broke. The head protection is apparently made out of styrofoam. Threw it away.
