I did a lot of research & even returned another brand 360 seat before finding this one. I LOVE it. Baby is comfortable in it (used to scream every car ride and now is peaceful with a toy). It feels so secure and safe from a parent perspective. It is heavy and takes a bit to install, but we don’t move it regularly so I don’t mind. Also love that it’ll turn all the way around when installed to rear face. We use that when parked at the gas station or waiting somewhere & it also helps me climb into the third row past the captains chairs! While it’s a little awkward to turn it with one hand, you can absolutely do it (hold the latch with your hand and use that shoulder/arm to nudge it).     • Fantastic car seat with a major learning curve
Installing this car seat for the first and even second or third time was challenging for us. But once we got the hang of it (and doing it properly), we have no complaints. EXCEPT, that if you have two of these (or any toddler car seat) installed on the outboards of a bench seat, installing them can be very tricky because of the way you have to rotate the car seat to lift the seat out of the base and access the belt path for installation. Lifting it out with another toddler car seat on the bench can get very tight, and wonky as the emme does not have proper space to rest out of the base while you install seatbelt if there’s another car seat on the bench. If you only have one car seat or an infant seat on the bench with this one, it’s a non issue. Additionally- the swivel feature will not work fully if there is a car seat installed in the seat directly beside this seat. With that said, we have two toddler seats on a bench seat and have made it work. With proper installation the swivel works perfectly for us. We have never had an issue. My child is incredibly happy and comfortable in this seat. I would absolutely buy it again. ... show more

    • Bad design, very difficult to install, manual is not clear, very difficult to get newborn in and out

I'm very disappointed with this thing. It is VERY difficult to install. The seat portion is attached with a steel cable to the base which makes it get in the way of installing. You can't really get it out of the way. It keeps flopping over or pulling the base away when you are trying to install it. There is no documentation how to clip the latches onto the car fixing points. Do they go opening up or opening down ? The strap that goes over the car seat to the back anchor is shown to go between the headrest supports. What if the car has unmovable headrests ? the strap has to go around and tugs the whole thing lopsided. That back strap should be split so it can accommodate cars with fixed headrests. Tightening the straps is also a nightmare. you tighten tighten tighten and it's still a floppy construction. there is no way to adjust the base incline. Ever seen an isofix mechanism ? one click and it's done ! no belts, no straps no fuss. Then there is the whole seat itself. The manual points to the handles on the SIDE to change the incline in rear facing mode. The real latch is in the BACK of the seat. It took me 10 minutes to figure this out. Learn to draw instructions ! The drawing is misleading. The straps for the child have a sticky backing that makes it difficult to get her in properly. The seat is not removable from the base so you can't use it as a child carrier and need to move it to a different carrier.( yet another purchase and cost). The handle to unlatch the rotation is very stiff and in a difficult to reach position. This thing doesn't work. It took us 20 minutes to get the newborn in the set when trying to leave the hospital. The hospital almost did not let us go because we don't have a baby carrier to take her from the room to the car seat (other systems have the seat removable to be used as baby carrier.) Moving this from one car to another is an ordeal. The rotation is a gimmick. It may work in a tall wide SUV with large door opening, in a regular sedan ? not so much. VERY displeased. ... show more

    • Comfortable, Convenient, and Worth the Investment

This 360 car seat has been a game-changer for us! The swivel feature makes getting our baby in and out so much easier compared to traditional rear-facing seats. It’s super cushy and our child seems really comfortable, plus the two recline options are great for rear-facing naps. I love that it converts to a booster and goes up to 100 lbs—makes the price feel totally worth it. The magnetic chest clip is a smart touch, and the machine-washable cushions are a lifesaver for messes. We did have an issue with our first seat, but Maxi-Cosi’s customer service was fantastic—they replaced it quickly at no charge. The only downsides: it takes two hands to rotate, which can be tough when you’re holding a wiggly toddler, and I wish there were magnets to hold the straps out of the way. Also, rear-facing maxes out at 40 lbs. But overall, we love this seat and would absolutely recommend it. It is worth the money! ... show more

Really nice, comfortable seat. My son really loves this seat, it has great padding, soft and cushiony. I love the rotation, it’s such a great feature, I’m in my mid to late 30’s and this saves my back. My only complaint is how hard it is to move between cars and install properly. My husband says it’s easy after you do it a few times, so now I just make him do it. Great seat overall. ... show more

Absolutely love this car seat. We’ve used it since our infant was 5 weeks old. He would scream in his previous carrier. Now he’s comfier and loves car rides. Easy to install under 5 minutes. The 360 turn makes it so easy for getting him in and out. Great quality over all and would repurchase for another car or kiddo in the future.
