This arrived just in time for some inclement weather, but I thought “what better test than to see how fast it can get me in out of light rain and heavy mosquitoes?” That’s every camper’s nightmare, so I decided to give it a go. The tent itself was up, without instructions, in just a few minutes. Zip the outer doors (one on front and rear) and you’re out of the rain. When the rain stopped, unzip the outer door and zip up the inner screen door, you have protection from bugs and some ventilation. That venting can be enhanced by tying up the side windows. So on the concept of quick shelter, it would be 5 stars. It is, after all, a sub-$60 tent. You can’t fairly compare it to a duck-cotton tent costing hundreds and hundreds of dollars. The lack of instructions cost some stars when it was time to disassemble and fold back down. Left to my own devices, I did manage to pop one of the braces out of its holder at the top joint. It’s not “broken, as I can likely pop it back in, but it is clear the fold-up has a sequence I didn’t have access to. I did get it down though, and didn’t do permanent damage. So, overall it’s a cool little tent for the meager price you’re paying. Not heavy duty by any means, but certainly quick shelter when you need it or a fun outside adventure for the kids. If you need heavy duty, you’ll also need to at least double the price. Loses a star for no instructions, and the very light weight nature of construction, but a decent value if expectations stay in line with price. ... show more

I only used it once and I'm not a regular camper. I'm not sure how sturdy it would be if windy. I put a tarp under just in case. Roomy for one person...two adults max if they are not too tall, not to fidgety To bad you cannot roll up and down the windows and screens from the inside but really, for occasional camping night, it's great. ... show more

For $50 you can’t expect an amazing tent. Yes, the set up is SUPER easy but the material seems very cheap. It just has an overall low quality look and feel to it. There’s also the windows that open on the OUTSIDE…seemed odd plus the Velcro that holds the window doesn’t line up too well. It definitely would not use this backpacking. But would work for camping with 2-3 people. I can’t attest to the weather resistance…I have a feeling it wouldn’t hold up in rain. Overall it’s $50 or so and works as a tent and is easy to set up and take down. ... show more

I thought about buying a beach tent but this is even better I can also use it for camping. Comes with a carrying bag which makes it easy to store and put away. The best thing about this tent is how quickly it sets up and breaks down. It pretty much does the work for you. We set it up on our first try in just a couple of minutes. Breaking it down was equally easy. It comes with a carry bag which is big enough that it is not a struggle to get the tent back inside (without having to squeeze and shove and fight it) Another nice feature is that it has full zipper doors on both sides. This makes it much easier to access and also allows for better airflow. It also has windows on each side that can be opened and closed with a flap. Overall the ease of use and the value for the money is great. We are definitely happy with it. ... show more
