Description

Cabin tents are designed to provide a spacious, comfortable camping experience for families and groups. With their straight wall construction, these tents maximize interior space, making it easy to stand up, move around, and create separate sleeping or living areas. Many cabin style designs offer multi room layouts, giving campers added privacy and flexibility during extended trips. Built for durability, cabin tents are typically made with rugged polyester fabrics and supported by strong steel or fiberglass frames that hold up well in a variety of outdoor conditions. Despite their size, they’re designed for straightforward set up, with included poles, stakes, and guy lines that help get camp ready with minimal hassle. Comfort and convenience are key features in this category. Adjustable ventilation systems help regulate airflow and reduce condensation, while interior storage options like gear lofts and pockets keep essentials organized and within reach. Many cabin tents also include protective rainflies and sealed seams to help keep the interior dry during wet weather. Overall, cabin tents offer a reliable and roomy shelter solution for campers who value space, comfort, and ease of use, making them a popular choice for family camping and group adventures.

  • Two years in and we’d definitely buy it again
Size: 10 Person
We’ve had this tent for about two years now and have been really happy with it. It’s relatively quick to put up given its size, and it’s stayed dry even in downpours. There are three of us plus a Great Dane who use it, and it feels very spacious - we place three twin-size air mattresses and a large dog bed along the edges and still have lots of room for gear and plenty of open floor space to use in the middle. The curtain that separates the tent into two “rooms” is useful when the dog is wet and we want to limit her to one side. The high ceiling makes it feel more like a small cabin than a tent, so it’s a comfortable place to hang out when the weather takes a turn. Although it’s got a large footprint, we’ve never had trouble setting it up at even smallish tent sites. I do wish there were more hanging pocket around the edges for things like glasses and flashlights, and the zipper covers can make it a bit of a struggle to quickly open the door at times, but those are minor things. We’re overall really happy with our choice and would definitely recommend this tent. ... show more

  • Great Tent
Size: 10 Person
We purchased this tent for our very first camping trip. We are a family of 5 so we wanted to make sure we had enough room. This tent was spacious and comfortable for us the entire trip. Before going camping I set up the tent in my front yard as many suggest just so that I could learn how to set it up and to make sure nothing was missing. We had some trouble setting it up because I didn't understand the instructions...that the metal ring key thingy was supposed to go into the bottom of the pole. Once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing. The tent takes about 15 minutes to set up with two people, and after I had done it once it was easy. I waterproofed the tent with scotchgard outdoor waterproofing spray which is suggested to do by veteran campers to make sure the tent is waterproof. On our camping trip, setup was a breeze, and we were able to fit two queen air mattresses and two twin air mattresses and six people. This did take up much of the floor space in the tent, though. The weather was clear so we slept with all the windows open and the rain fly off and it was very comfortable and breezy. Night two, however, it rained, so we had to close the windows and put on the rainfly. Fortunately, the ground vents provided adequate ventilation so we were comfortable and no rain leaked in. It wasn't raining incredibly hard and we were under a lot of tree cover, so I still don't know for sure how rainproof the tent would be in a hard downpour, but nonetheless, it performed great in the weather we had. The tent fits nicely in the bag, even though we aren't able to pack it perfectly so that's a nice bonus. Being able to stand up inside of it makes it feel like a nice cabin rather than a tent. Overall, it seems to be a great tent and we look forward to more camping trips with it. ... show more

  • Not easy up, but good enough!
Size: 10 Person
I've owned several CORE brand tents. I usually buy them from Costco, but because summer season was already over, I could not find them locally. I opted to check on Amazon and sure enough, we found a similar one to our previous CORE tent. Our previous CORE tent's water proofing cover had failed after three years. I used this tent camping locally in Hawaii at a state beach park. Initially, after opening all of the contents, I was a little intimidated by how many pieces there were vs. an easy up tent where you lay out the tent on the ground, pull up on the poles, lock the pieces in place, peg everything down, and you're good to camp! I laid everything out and started reading the instructions. The instructions were attached to the bag that holds the tent. The instructions were easy to understand. I started out by pegging down the corners of the tent. I then inserted the main X sectioned poles. I moved on to the outside support poles, and then finished standing up the tent and pegging everything down. Last but not least was the rain cover (not sure what the official name is), but it goes over the entire tent to protect from rain. We weather tested it that night. It started lightly drizzling late in the evening, cleared up, and then eventually started storming in the middle of the night. The cover protected the tent completely. The tent is very roomy, it fit a queen size air mattress with a ton of room to spare for our bags and things that needed protection from the outdoors. The windows were perfect. They allowed air to flow through so not to knock the tent over. My only gripe is that I could not get everything back into the main bag. I had to leave the poles out of the bag. Otherwise, I look forward to next summer when we take the tent camping again! ... show more

  • Great buy!
Size: 10 Person
Great quality tent! We've used it for a couple years now multiple times a year and it has held up nicely. Its very spacious and my husband who is 6' 4" can stand up inside which is very important for us. It has kept us warm on cold mountain nights and has great ventilation for during the day. It's fairly easy to set up even with only one person. Overall great material quality, easy set up and take down, and very roomy. ... show more

  • The best, unless it rains
Size: 10 Person
If you want a great SUMMER tent, this is your tent. I bought this tent 4 years ago and never used it. We were reluctant to bring it on our camping trip due to size, but decided to test it out. Let me tell you, not only did it fit our spot but the setup was SO EASY! at first we were a bit frustrated with the minimal instructions, but after reading them we realize it really was super simple. We LOVE the open mesh ceiling to view stars, but we added the rain guard and we are set for a rainy PNW camping trip. It is spacious, we love the air vents to get fresh air. The pockets inside are so convenient for headlamps, wallets, and phones. Two doors on opposite sides is such a plus for convenience to both sides of our camping spot (one side Bear box, other picnic table, stove, camp fire). The tent was not heavy for the size and I love that we got extra patches incase anything happens. If there is rain, don’t even think about it. It rained yesterday. The “water resistant” really well sealed they talk about does not exist. It was water resistant for about 3 hours during moderate rainfall. When we went into the tent to go to bed, we noticed water pooling in all four corners. Then it started coming through those “super sealed” windows. Our stuff was soaked, so we had to use dirty clothes to block the water from entering our tent more. The worst part? The next morning one of our clothing bags was soaked through. To conclude, this is a great tent if you are camping in perfect weather, but be careful if there’s any rain on your forecast. ... show more

  • Great for family of 5.
Size: 10 Person
This tent was so easy to put up. It took less than 10 minutes. It looks huge. Perfect for a family of 5 including 3 toddlers and 2 adults. It can fit two blow up mattresses with plenty of room to still walk around. Or 3-4 kid sleeping bags across. Very functional. My husband is 6’2 and he can stand with plenty of room above him yet. The cabin style design is awesome. The quality is five stars. We’ve used this tent two times already and it’s super easy to put away in its provided carrier. It fits nicely in our garage without taking up too much space. It did rain one time for an hour and the tent stayed completely dry inside. The color is a vibrant orange. There is a divider you can add separating two rooms which is nice when the little ones go to bed first. There are also two separate entrances to prevent disturbing the other side of the tent. The top of the tent is removable as to see the stars/sky. Well worth the price and then some! I highly recommend. ... show more

  • This is the tent
Size: 10 Person
We are a 72 yo couple and have tent camped all our life. Last year we bought a travel trailer and then decided to go back to the tent. I researched all different kinds of tents. One day while visiting our daughter camping at a PA state park, I saw about 8 CORE tents set up in a group campsite. I then decided that’s the tent!!! When we got home, I purchased a CORE tent. Fast forward to our first camping trip of the season in Maryland, we pull up to our camp site and lo and behold there are 2 CORE tents in the 2 sites next to us. We easily set up our 10p tent and realized we made the right decision. ... show more

  • Came highly recommended, disappointed immediately upon opening
Size: 10 Person
With our son joining our camping adventures, and possibly his friends in the future, it was time to get a larger tent. A friend of ours had purchased this exact one and recommended. Upon reading the reviews, this seemed like a strong possibility though I typically purchase outdoor gear that is higher end and has better water resistant characteristics. But given the recommendation I ordered. Between poor weather and other plans, we were just able to open the tent last night to familiarize ourselves with setup before a planned family trip next week. The tent, although the material is quite thin, was in new condition. However, I was disappointed upon taking the three support poles that provide the integrity for the roof out of the bag to find them in either used condition or constructed with poor materials. There were a number of signs of wear and the joints already had corrosion on them. The tent body itself seemed in good condition, however, the room divider is very thin and already had some holes forming in it. Again, I don't know if this is poor manufacturing or if this piece was also used. However, this is more of a minor issue. Amazon can only handle returns, which doesn't help me with a trip scheduled next week, so I will be contacting the manufacturer to see if they will make good on providing new poles with a new tent. Between trying to get a call with Amazon customer service, needing to instead go through chat because they have "heavy call volume" and then need to contact the manufacturer wastes more of my time than I'd prefer. I'll update this rating depending upon outcome. ... show more
