Very happy with this purchase. We converted our full size Chevy Express 3500 Van into a camper, had been searching for a bed/mattress that could easily convert into a small couch. We didnt want a futon mattress since those floppy mattresses are a pain to deal with, they aren't very comfortable, and we didnt want a futon frame. This mattress/couch is exactly what we wanted, and in our van conversion I designed & built a riser/base frame that easily expands from the couch size to the full mattress. We bought the full size, and the measurements are very close to advertised. The length is 75" as a full size mattress is supposed to be. The width of it as a bed is 55.25" (1.25" wider than the 54" width that a full size is supposed to be) This minimal difference in width would normally be unnoticeable, but since every inch counts when building a full van conversion, I did have to adjust the custom interior slightly. For someone using this at home this wouldn't matter. Deep full size fitted sheet fits great. As a mattress, it's very comfortable to sleep on. The seam doesn't run down the center of the mattress, it is more on one side, and I honestly barely notice the seam at all while sleeping. My wife sleeps on the side without the seam, she sleeps great on it. When folded up into the couch it's comfortable as well. The back is very vertical when it's a couch, so we use our sleeping pillows as throw pillows. When we fold ours up into the couch we leave the fitted sheet in place so it's already there when we convert it back into a bed. The base/sitting area of the couch is deep so you do have a comfortable deep surface to sit on and lean back. Keep in mind that because the couch arms/sides fold up from the mattress, the couch is not the width of a full size couch, more like the size of a love seat. Youre not going to stretch out like youre on a full size couch, but it's very effective and two people can sit side by side nicely. The quality is very good. The fabric is thick and durable, the seams are very well stitched, so it appears like it will hold up over time. The internal foam seems dense and durable, we've used it only about 20 times but I believe it will stay firm for a long time. I'm giving this a solid 5 stars. Great product. Nice unique design. Very good quality. Arrived on time, in vacuum sealed suction bag, so it took several days for it to fully expand. I do recommend this product.

I would not buy this product nor recommend to anyone! The color was not at all like it is in the picture, the zipper is exposed and no way to return the item. We requested UPS pick up and they came and could lot ick it up bc it doesn’t fit back in the box it came in once opened. Then brought it to UPS store to return and they had the same problem. Tried to contact both the seller and Amazon, both of who said they would get back to us with a resolution…That was over a week ago and still no word. Horrible customer service on all parts and now stuck with a very large item that no one even on FB Marketplace wants once they see it! UGH!

Solid 3.5 stars, but not quite good enough for a 4. We got this for a guest bed/home office. We wanted a "couchbed" but unfortunately the pandemic halted their business so we decided to go with this off brand version which is about $100 cheaper. At first I intended to return this one, however the return shipping is such a pain in the butt I decided I'd just keep it. 1. Firstly, the fabric is decent quality - nicer than I expected. The dark gray color is consistant with the photos. 2. However the mattress is NOT 8 inches. It's about 6.5 - and that's being generous. I've had it for about 3 weeks and if it hasn't "expanded" to its full size by now, then it never will. 3. Next, as others mentioned, this is low to the ground. It's a 6.5 mattress pretending to be 8 inches - so that's the height. This isn't a design flaw, this is just a matter of understanding the product you're buying. We plan to get a "couchbed" platform to go under it as soon as we can. 4. As a sofa it's not particularly comfortable, which is too bad. We've had to use lots of bed pillows to make up for the "backless" style. 5. As a mattress it's surprisingly lovely. Way better than a futon! It's firm in a good way. The seam down the middle isn't an issue as long as you put sheets on it like a normal bed. Definitely more comfortable as a bed than as a sofa. The "coachbed" brand version is definitely a better product - and is a full 8 inches. But since this one is $100 less, I guess it does the job as long as you're not using it as a primary sofa.

The only problem is when I first got it as soon as anything got on it there was big white stains there after you tried to wash anything off it so I decided to take it off wash it in the washing machine dry it on medium heat and that problem has been solved I love this couch it is very comfortable to sleep on and it is perfect for what I needed it for my autistic son safety I highly recommend this couch
