Only the 4 corners are reinforced. We are using it to cover our pool 18" round. Need this because the deck was built to high and couldn't use a round cover. When pulled tight with bungee cords the tarp ripped right away around the non reinforced rivets. Have to wait and see if it survives the winter. ... show more

I bought this cover to keep the weather off of my project car, but it only lasted for about 7 months before turning into confetti. This lasted the least out of 3 covers I have purchased so far, however I do like the grey color but that is the only good thing I can say. I used this on a car in full sun 100% of daylight hours, when it starts to break down it just turns to nothing. A week before it broke down and tore apart, it looked fine, but under closer scrutiny it was frayed all over the place. I will say with the 2 covers made of this same material they all break apart in the same fashion but this one only lasted 7 months vs 13 months with the last cover I purchased for for $6.00 more. So with that said, it may last longer in partial sunlight, there were no defects in the product, and it worked well for 7 months. Saying it is UV resistant is like saying cardboard is UV resistant, because if I would have covered my car in old boxes they would still be around. All in all, don't use this as a solution for a cover you will need for more than six months, if you need it for less then 6 months its a great product, it will server you well. If you want to cover a boat or a car, spend some money and buy a custom product with a lifetime warranty! May this review serve you well. ... show more

We used this tarp to protect outdoor furniture last winter. The material of the tarp itself is generally good (no leaks) and looks good, too. However, after a few days of strong wind gusts the tarp started to rip around the metal rings which we we used to secure the tarp with bungee hooks. Maybe I didn't tighten it enough, but wind always managed to slip under the tarp in gusty conditions and when that happens very strong forces are starting to act on this tarp - perhaps some sort of vent flaps that let wind out while keeping rain out would be the solution..? Either way, after that winter the tarp was ripped near almost all metal rings do I had to discard it. I'll be looking for a different solution, probably individual furniture covers rather than one tarp. ... show more

Usually not the type of person to spend time complaining about products I buy online but I feel the consumers need to know what they are getting into so here you go... First off, when you order something next day air with plenty of time to ship (I was a UPS driver so I know exactly how the system works) and it doesn't ship till a few business days later, we have a problem. We also have a problem when trying to cancel the order once I realized the lag in ship time and they wouldn't let me despite the fact that it had not yet been shipped per the info provided for me. In other words, I paid for premium shipping for a product they had on hand and ended up watching that money get thrown away for a company who offers next day air service while at the same time failing to understand that people who do so want their packages asap. Now lets move on to the actual product now that you've been warned against upgrading shipping with a company that fails to recognize the principles behind it...The product is thin, cheap and of poor quality . There are better quality tarps than this at large home stores and next time I will go to one of them to pick one up rather than spend money on one of these cheap units. I regret this purchase because of the poor quality of the tarp and because of the poor shipping department. A total waste of money and time IMO. ... show more

No issues with this buy, the delivery was a day early which was great. The tarp was a little thinner than I was hoping but that seems to be a commenting trend with any of the tarps available on Amazon. It did the job that we bought it for but ours was for a one time purpose and not to sit outside all winter or anything like that so I have no idea how it would deal with 4 months or more of outside use. i got my tarp on the exact day it was said to arrive. im very amazed at how large this tarp is for the price i payed. i surfed the internet for days trying to find the best tarp for the price and i couldnt have found better. this tarp is more than enough for what i need. i will be using this tarp to cover a tent and provide a bit of shade for camping. grant its not the lightest thing in the world to take camping but i needed the size to cover my large 4 person tent sufficiently enough to have extra tarp for a makeshift "poach". have yet to try it out on the trails but with me and a few of my buddies im sure this will turn out to be a very good buy. ... show more
