Can be put together with one person but a lot easier with two. Picture instructions were a challenge but with time can figure out. The pieces were numbered which was a plus. All pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly. They supply Allen wrenches but if you have your own it makes it easier to assemble.

This was everything I wanted. I wanted a white strong durable bed that was minimalistic looking and this is exactly it. The bed is made out of wood which is good because I’m tired of buying cheap plastic card board things. My kids have been using this for a few months now and it’s not damaged or anything, it doesn’t bend or scratch. I wanted it low profile and im glad they made it like this. Upon opening the package, I was pleased with plentiful wrapping material to protect the bed parts. The height—approximately 4”—is perfect for one or two adults who are well under 6” to assemble. The bed frame looks clean and there aren’t any sharp edges sticking out to scrape any sensitive parts of your body. However, the assembly instructions were what tripped me up. For some, I know don’t need much and can do just fine with pictures, but for me, I need more explanations in written form to assemble a piece of furniture successfully. If you’re not someone who’s attentive to pictorial details at first glance, you could easily make the mistake like I did and put in the wrong screws—which is fairly easy to do as there are two similar types of screws in the assembly hardware package, just in different lengths. It was right after I heard a crack or two, turned the board over and realized I had done something wrong. At that point, I was cursing at myself as I was at the person/team who came up with the instructions for not reminding me that these aren’t the screws—in written form. I’ll give the manufacture/designer of this low- loft bed frame a five-star for the design and safety features. On the other hand, the assembly instructions would have to be a one-star; it could be improved for people who do things best following not just pictures but words to guide them. Unfortunately, I have to return this. I fear the cracked/stripped wood could put my daughter’s safety at risk over time if I keep the frame, but other than that, it would’ve been a good bed frame—lighter weight, nice color that coordinates with any home decor, and at a price that I don’t have to cry over for spending my money on! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So I purchased this low bunk bed by Max and Lily Furniture. It was the lighter kind of grey color wood which i LOVE. The wood is very thick, it was heavy, and very easy to put together. The instructions aren’t 100% clear on how to do everything but the pictures pretty much help enough to get the job done. My mom and I struggled a little because the side that’s a head board and ladder for the top bunk we put the pieces upside own and had to turn them around, besides that it was a piece of cake took about two hours to put together maybe an hour and a half tops. This bed isn’t too high it’s a low bunk which I also love my youngest can’t get things under the bed and my oldest won’t get the heat of the house from the ceiling lol. However it’s a really good bed, I love how good the wood is, nothing was broken, everything was very well wrapped and safe, I’d buy it again if I had to. ♥️😊 I’m very satisfied and my kids LOVE IT! ... show more

My son (5’3”,100lbs) wanted a darker wood loft bed, but we have low ceilings in our basement (just under 7ft) and I couldn’t find a bed that would be up high enough that he could sit upright underneath it but can also sit upright while sitting on the top. After lots of measurements made and hours spent researching, this was the best fit. It was pretty easy to put together, it took my husband and son maybe 30-45 min to put it together. Husband is mechanically inclined, so they probably got it done quicker than your average folks. The bed is solid. We are not worried about its integrity. Then again, our son is a teen and not a squirrelly, climb-y, jump-y little kid. It creaks when you move on it. I’m sure there’s something we could do about it, but it doesn’t bug him. It will bug someone, so be aware that it could be a thing. He has a thick mattress and I was worried it would be too tall for the railings, but as long as you don’t have an aggressive roller, it’ll be fine. He has made the underneath part into a curtained hangout with a banana-type chair, fairy lights and jellyfish lamp and everything. He loves it, great product! ... show more
