This grandmother put the bed frame together all by herself with minimal difficulty. It would have been super easy if I had a helper that day. Even an eight year old child would be a good helper to put it together. I bought this bed frame to replace one that my grandson broke when jumping on the bed. I could not bolt my beautiful wooden headboard and foot board to the steel frame because of the way the headboard and foot board were made, but I was delighted to find that I could use them because the new bed frame fit perfectly inside the old bedframe after I knocked out the broken supports on the bed rails. The steel frame is very solid and provides great support. My current mattress and box spring is much more comfortable on top of this bed frame than it was on the wooden slats of the old bed frame.

Likes: The bed assembled surprisingly easy. All parts & frame members were clearly identified & the assembly photo was easy to see. It didn't require a lot of instructions because it was designed so well for quick assembly. - The bed is very strong & quiet. No rattling of slats, etc. I plan to get a King version for our master suite as it is much better than the one we currently have. - The slat spacing is still TBD. I would have preferred closer spacing for the 6" mattress but so far it seems OK. I know our mattress is thinner than most. For a thicker mattress it shouldn't be an issue.

We received this yesterday. Putting it together was pretty easy. We had two people putting it together but could easily be done alone. We got the 18” high one which is great because we now can store totes under the bed. Seems to be very sturdy so far. *** My only advice is to measure the true 18 inches of this along with the depth of your mattress to make sure you can actually get into the bed. We have a 14 inch mattress so it makes it considerably high. We are both average height so it is ok just a bit high. Slept pretty comfortably, I have several ruptured disc in my back and had no stiffness or soreness after sleeping on it. Again I have only slept on this item once. So far so good!

This was simple to assemble but one of the leg pieces ended up being wrong. I got 3 of the same legs and it should have been 2 and 2 since they aren't interchangeable. I was able to make it work since I'd spent all the time assembling it and didn't want to take it all apart to send it back for another one. Lesson learned to double check to make sure all the pieces are correct but overall it is a good, sturdy product for the price!

A friend told me about this bed frame so I decided to give it a try. OMG! She was right! First of all, it's easy to assemble. Secondly, you don't need a box spring (one less thing to attract bed bugs!). What you wind up with is a sturdy bed frame AND LOTS OF SPACE UNDERNEATH FOR BOX/TOTES FOR STORAGE! Since we recently downsized, I was desperate for storage space. Needless to say, I bought these bed frames for every bedroom! It's like getting an extra closet with each bed frame!

This frame is not very sturdy. My son had to gently sit and lay on this bed frame. Not all screws lined up and after a short time the legs were bent. Tried to fix it a few times, but eventually broke. My son is now sleeping on his mattress on the floor. Would definitely not buy again!!
