These chairs are wonderful! Super sturdy, easy to assemble, attractive. I would have preferred less ornate but I wanted solid bar stools (we are not a family of lightweights) that fit in with our eclectic decor and not made in China. The instructions say two people, twenty minutes, but it was more like two people ten minutes for the first one. Then I had to disassemble the bottom tier because there’s actually a metal covering for the rung where you rest your feet (another two thumbs up feature!) and we had misaligned it. And another feature that I appreciated was the fact that the chair swivels back to its original placement when you get off. (In addition to not being lightweights my family is not a bunch of natural housekeepers. If only I could find towels that refold themselves…) I also am delighted to add that I was not asked to submit this review! I hate being solicited. Kudos all around! ... show more

I really love this stool. Very sturdy and elegant and the price is reasonable. Very easy to put together. I ended up returning because it just didn’t work with my kitchen coloring. I wish they made it with dark base and light seat.

The chairs are beautiful and great quality! There were a few spots that appeared to have a "blemish" yet not worth returning. With no sense of urgency, I easy assembled 3 chairs by myself in 30 minutes. Extremely comfortable seating and perfect for my breakfast nook. Highly recommended!
